You're right! I also grew up in the late 70s and 80s! And what can I say!, those where the days, and I listened to just about every kind of music there was! From new wave to rock, heavy metal, punk, disco yes disco too!! I love music, and today there's some good artists out there and good music too! I know what you mean! We're starting to sound like our parents did back then, when they use to tell us to turn the radio down or that crap off! Every generation have their music, we had ours, and this generation in the near future will do and say the same things we're saying now! We have to learn to embrace all types of musics. If you like it now like you did then!, then why not embrace it! It doesn't mean that everything that they play now is great! But there's good music out there. You know! My wife thinks I'm weird! Why you may ask? Because I like all kind of music and a lot of today's music!! Some times she tell me to grow up! And listen to something more mature!! And I tell her!! Boy honey what happened?? You use to enjoy all types of music just like me! Music doesn't make you immature! Stupidity makes you immature! Music is good for the soul and the heart., we all need good music! To help us remember! To heal the wounds sometimes. But music makes us happy. Now remember what I just say people of older age and younger peoples of today! And then get back to me in 15 or 20 years and tell me what I just mentioned here is right on the money!! Thank god for music!! :-)
Thank God I am not that old. No offence, but ageing is s***! :( We need a time machine or some kind of anti-ageing medication. You must be 10 years older than me. It's getting scary to me how quick time is flying and how short life is. :(
