+KuroiAiren5 I've always thought that this was an interesting topic to discuss with other readers! I really didn't like the look of Twilight or City of Bones but I loved them both and The Shadowhunter Chronicles are now my favourite series!
+Steph Piano Oh man, I still need to get my hands on the Mortal Instruments. I started reading the first book in the library and at that time I was probably in a reading slump and ended not reading it completely >\\\< I'm sure I'll end up loving that series since so many of my favorite Booktubers say they also love the series :) At the moment though I'm buying books with the last book already coming out or are out already. I have to say the Lunar Chronicles was one I thought was going to be only O.K. but darn was I wrong cuz it A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. and now I can't wait (and I'm a bit teary) to read the last book that's already out >~

So many books to read! But I think the big one for me is just going to be to binge read the entire rest of the Lunar Chronicles. I'm also in a reread of the Anne of Green Gables series right now, so continuing through as many of those as possible because I love me some Anne Shirley.

I also really need to finish Rae Carson's series, the first book is just everything I ever wanted from YA fantasy novel. She's so underappreciated here on booktube, everyone needs to read her books.

The books that I have been meaning to read and need to finish before 2016 are Heir of Fire and Queen of Shadows. They have been in like 3 TBR videos in a row or something.
I just love that we're getting to this Booktube season of wrapping up the year and making resolutions for the new year! I really love this time! Books I really neeeeed to finish are: winter, carry on and Magnus chase and the sword of summer! But my thesis is asking a lot of attention right now! 😒

I love Between Shades of Gray so much! I read it 3 times in the span of like a month. It is so empowering about the families that were living in that part of the world. A lot of people associate WWII with like Hitler, but some people dont know what happened across the river. It is so amazing and just yeah

+PeruseProject Eek! Reagan! You're reading Carry On! I finished that last friday and it is officially MY FAVORITE STANDALONE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNIVERSE! That sounds exaggerated, but it's not. The book is just perfect. The perfect blend of fantasy and romance! And the romance is just so Rainbow Rowell-ish (meaning that it's adorable and makes you feel all giddy inside!)
OMG, between shades of gray is an awesome book! I read it in one sitting and I cried so much! it's worth it 😊 I hope you get to read it before the year ends

Before the end of the year I need to finish: Library of Souls, Catacomb, Beastly Bones, Winter, Lair of Dreams, Magicians Muse, Fire Study. All of these are the last of their series and to finish off 7 series in the next month and a half would be awesome! Good luck reading yours!!

Between shades of gray is beautiful and one of my fave books! And the fire and thorns trilogy is my fave series I've read this year so enjoy crown of embers! I really REALLY need to read blood of Olympus but the end of the year. Like really.
Between Shades of Grey was such a beautiful book. I still need to read Six of Crows and I'd say that's my main one to aim for.
I have also been needing to read Between Shades of Gray. Also I have The Girl On The Train sitting on my shelf, where it has been for months and months. Every time I think I'll finally settle down and read them something else pops up that takes my attention.

There's also The Crash at Hennington (?) and Topics About Which I Know Nothing, which are a novel and short story collection respectively, by Patrick Ness, which I don't think you've read yet (purely judging by what you've talked about on your channel). They are his first published works and apparently they're quite good (I mean it is Patrick Ness after all) but I haven't read them personally.

Don't worry Reagan. I read Daughter of Smoke and Bone a little over a year ago. I own the next two books but just haven't read them yet!!(even though I really enjoyed the first one).
I also really need to read Hero of Ages because I read the first two earlier this year and I want to finish the trilogy because it OHMYGOSH IT'S SO AWESOME. Seriously. I now own like 8 of Brandon Sanderson's books.
I want to hear what you think of The Name of The Wind because I own it and have heard just great things.

Between Shades Of Gray is amazing. One of my favorites.
The Name of the Wind was phenomenal. It was a slow start for me, but once I got into it I couldn't put it down. Right now I've got the second book, The Wise Man's Fear, in queue. That one is intimidating -- 994 pages of very small type -- so I haven't picked it up yet.

I read between shades of grey last year and it was the book that got me into reading :) it's so good and the plot is so deep and urg it's so amazing
I've got to read DREAMS OF GODS AND MONSTERS before I completely forget everything that happened in the previous books. Would also like to get to THE CUCKOO'S CALLING, THE SILKWORM, and MISTBORN. Oh, and finally finish George R.R. Martin's book 2 of A Song of Ice and Fire. Soooo many books. >_

I always get in a slump during October/November because uni gets in the way so I haven't read any of the things I've wanted to. Probably my top books to read this year: Champion (currently reading as of like two months), Half Blood Prince, The Book Thief, and The Night Circus. Those have all been on my shelf for too long and I feel like winter is a good time to read them. But there are a bunch of others I want to read too. D:
I need to read the book thief, angels and demons by Dan Brown, Angela's ashes, if I stay, Romeo and Juliet, how to kill a hummingbird... and a couple more. Some have been on my shelf for +6 months so need to get on them xD

1- Allegiant (I was spoiled a long time ago about the end and I just recently picked up again... I'm getting there. One page at a time...
2- The running dream by Wendelin Van Draanen. I've wanted to read it since last year and I think it's time
3- The night circus by Erin morgenstern... I feel like december would be an amazing month to read this one. I have been saving it for next month
4- Addicted After All by Krista & Becca Ritchie. I got this book since january but I don't want to say goodbye to my favorite, number one OTP in the world, just yet. But I have to since I have to read the spin offs since their newest book comes out this month
5- CHAMPION by Marie Lu. I was a messed by the end of Prodigy because... you know... so I have been super scared but I decided to finish my reading year with this book.

I've heard The Crane Wife is really good (I've never read any Patrick Ness! Gasp!) - I'm still working my way into fantasy so adult fiction is definitely more within my comfort zone :P

As a fairly slow reader let me just say that The Name of the Wind only took a couple of days. The 700ish pages felt more like 400. Fantastic smooth read. Also, not what I was expecting it to be...

I need to start A Girl of Fire and Thorns. But it's probably not even going to happen this year. God, so many books to read.
I surprisingly don't have that many books I NEED to finish this yr but here's my TOP 3:
1) Origin & Opposition by Jennifer L. Armentrout; the 4th & 5th books in the Lux series. Started reading the series back in '13. And these 2 have been chillin on my kindle since & it's not even funny anymore.
2) Conspiracy of Blood & Smoke by Anne Blankmen; the 2nd bk in the Prisoner of Night & Fog trilogy. Read the first bk last Christmas & loved it & I've had this one since my b-day in April. Been itching to read a good historical fiction lately so hopefully that will be rectified soon.
3) Magnus Bane Chronicles by Casandra Clare. Another bk I've had since Christmas -faceplam; This is the only CC book I haven't fully read yet (beside the Shadowhunters Codex which I'm not really counting)
here's hoping we get both get through most of our lists :)

I need to finish Into the Still Blue and finish The Darkest Minds trilogy. I've been reading through them all year long! Just need to power through.
I need to finish The Great Gatsby this week. I have a complete lack of available excuses, there is no reason why I have not finished that novel... It's literally staring at me, right now.
I really need to read The Assassin's Blade by the end of the year because I love Throne of Glass. I'd also like to finish the Heroes of Olympus series.
THE ASSASIN'S BLADE was amazing. That's what made me want to read the series, as it was suggested to me that due to my reading preferences, I begin with that first. Can't wait to read the series. :D
