    I know this isn't a complete guide for every little thing you can do to set up MSI Afterburner, but I wanted to make a guide for Afterburner along with showing you how to read what is going on with the usages once you start using it. I hope this helps those who have been asking about the overlay I use and thank you (as always) for watching!

    Hello Klemintime and thank you for your videos!
    I have an i5 10400 and 3070, 32gb of ram.
    I am always on 30-45% cpu utilization and 40-45% gpu utilization. I try every setting, but can't change much. On streets inside building my frames drop to 30-40 max. And when I play with a full team, in a map like shoreline or customs, I can't hit 60 fps. I don't know what to do, probably my cpu and my old ram are the problem? Thank you

    • @klemintime1452
      @klemintime1452  Před 4 měsíci

      You're right on the money. Your CPU is definitely the reason why your FPS is so low. If you upgraded that you'd see substantial improvement. (I'd recommend upgrading motherboards too so that the CPU upgrade you can socket is worth your money)

  • @MrJB31
    @MrJB31 Před 4 měsíci

    Noob here.
    Are you always going to be either CPU/GPU bound.
    What if you theoretically bought the best GPU/CPU combo there could be? You’d run the game at max settings and they would just handle it without either bottlenecking each other?
    That’s the perfection scenario right?

    • @klemintime1452
      @klemintime1452  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You will always be bottlenecked by your CPU or your GPU. The only other option is to be frame capped, and then, well.. that's the "bottleneck". No matter the build, something will always be the bottlenecking factor.
      Now, hypothetically, if there was a system that teetered just on the edge of that with say 95-99% GPU usage, that would be the ideal scenario. Having that shows there is near perfect balance between the CPU and the GPU in terms of processing time for the frame, and then you have what most would call a "balanced rig".
      Hope this helps and good question :)

      Yeah, the 7800x3d's cache is simply an absolute slam dunk for gaming. You can think of that extra cache giving the CPU more room for data it needs for its logic, lessening the amount of time it needs to worry about swapping data out of it (and thus improving responsiveness and performance). They are absolutely crazy for Tarkov and sadly often get overshadowed by the dominance of people seeing the "i9" branding.
