I don't see anything to explain... I have a vague idea how it was done, but it was done with class and great presentation and a great story. Its hard to fool those guys, they know it all and have seen it all. The only way to really fool them is to something they've never seen. Great job Ekat, you should be proud of that performance!
I have been waiting all summer to watch you on pen and teller on tv. But the one day i choose to study and miss it i miss out on you.:( lol. But it was a beautiful performance. But this inspires me to keep working on my magic so I can one did perform to a big audience as big as this or even bigger! thanks for the magic ekat

I watched this on tv yesterday with my mom, and out of nowwhere i yelled OMG its EKATARINA! And my mom was so confused on why i was so excited and i told her i watch her on youtube xd
Beautiful performance! Few perfomers can take such a simple idea and make it into such a great experience. I'm a magician too, but you fooled me with the fairness of the thought of object. Loved it! I know that women have to work twice as hard for half the recogintion in this field, and I'm glad to see such a strong force changing it. You're in my top ten list of all living magicians today!

@@colors6692 I think he was saying he was impressed about the fact that she gave Allison a free choice of what object to think of instead of limiting the choices to a small number of possibilities.
Ekaterina Dobrokhotova is my favourite magic tutor on the internet and one of my favourite magicians on the internet. Why? One simple reason: Because she doesn't have an ego. And frankly, that's extremely refreshing. She is just her self and she has a warm and engaging personality and she speaks softly, in a friendly manner. She isn't a loudmouth.

Rewatching this after all this time because you mentioned it in your latest review. Of course I've known from the beginning how you did it, but that doesn't ruin anything for me. This was still a great performance. As much as I enjoy your reviews, it was the performance videos that you used to do that made me fall in love with your channel. Your charisma whenever you perform is always great to see.

MD S he said he won’t go on the show due to he fact he needs a work visa to do it and that’s about 7,000 bucks

@@onemorerep6597 a visa request costs $200 and if I'm not mistaken, being Canadian he can travel to the USA without a visa and stay for up to 3 months.

I loved your piece. I’ve always been a fan of your CZcams work so it was nice to see your originality on television. I especially liked your use of balloons with magic. I’m a balloon artist so it was very nice to see. Orange you glad you used real history with pop art! I’ve never seen that used in a magic trick the way you used it. Bravo!

How you pulled this off is really secondary to your forging a great connection with the crowd. Magic is about more than just being fooled--hell, I still think the old classics are fun, even though I know how they're done.
And yeah, you fooled me lol. There's obviously something hidden in the balloon, and maybe something about the "spray can," but I have no idea how the image on the card thing worked.

Question for anyone who knows how it's done. I know a lot of the sleight of hand techniques and am pretty good at spotting them or at least understanding how it may be done, but here, my question is this: if Allyson would have said that her meaningful memory involved her pet aardvark or her copy of Catcher in the Rye, could the magician still pull off the trick? Or does this trick rely on common answers? I'd think that it would be dangerous to rely on typical answers.

Excellent! I can't even begin to imagine the pressure you're under performing - not only for a studio audience, but for one of the most accomplished magicians in the world (and also Penn Jillette!). I'm guessing there's a whole index of ways you could do the trick, perhaps resorting to an attempt at just nailing it otherwise... although maybe not. Regardless, really good! :-)

Great performance and you are my idol I watched you on a UK show not long ago and you really made me think that most people just see female magicians as the magicians assistant (you know the lady who gets chopped in half kind of thing) but you made me realise female magicians can use the same methods and routines as male magicians and create just as beautiful performances if not better sometimes, I'm so done with all the stereotyping and the way people look down on female magicians and don't give them the credit they deserve!!! You are a brilliant example to young aspiring female magicians like myself...LOTS OF LOVE EKAT!!! Keep it up☺️😬👍👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
