honestly seeing that nemesis was Matt from the first movie as a kid shocked me and i also felt sorry for Alice. Seeing the only guy to survive the Hive with her to be turned into that must have broke her heart and made her feel like she failed again to protect those close to her
Did Alice love Matt and vice versa I don't think Alice cared for others much I do feel like she was telling the truth about being track but also think she knew they wanted to use her like umbrella wanted use her cause Carlos before he died give Alice a dirty look but I don't get it he also told her to save it why but it says numerous times he had feelings for her

It's really cool to see Milla Jovovich do all these punches and kicks, especially the high kicks. The problem here was the effects, the screen and the camera changes, which makes it difficult to see the movement.

Alice is technically not a normal human, and also, he doesn't get beat, he just sides with her

gotta give props to the actor in the massive nemesis costume. to be able to move under all that prosthetics.....shame the editing makes it difficult to appreciate

@@smittyvanjagermanjenson182 Thats not a plothole, it's simple leverage... That guy betrayed Umbrella, that shot was personal, but it made a point and he meant the least to Alice - actually one of the smarter, most realistic things in the movies, because yeah, there are plotholes.

Who knows what speed the fight actually took place in? Could be like Dragon Ball, where the fights are slowed down, otherwise we wouldn't be able to see anything.

This movie is still better than the ones after it. I was very disappointed with where they went with Extinction. Could've made an alternate storyline on what happens when Umbrella instead became more influential in global society, instead of dissolving like the games.

This scene resembles more Mortal Kombat because of bare hands fight and the "finish him" reference than Resident Evil
Gotta love how there is like five different jump cuts between each punch. That is how you know an actor is terrible at fighting when the camera literally has to give the viewer an epileptic fit to hide how bad the choreography is.
They mentioned she moved so fast they had to slow it at times. This is just a lot of unneeded cuts, bad editing decisions. Milla is an epic fighter. This showed very little of her true speed and ability.
This is mild compared to the final chapter, i had to get out from the theater cuz my head hurt alot

Too hard to design a fight like that outside a video game since we're meant to believe that Jill is human like in the real world despite the other crazy stuff she can do. Alice is mutated, so we can believe she is able to fight Nemesis.

After watching the Resident Evil 3 Gameplay I'm actually happy this Nemesis wasn't as fast, brutal or mutated further because Alice would've been in trouble. In all honesty she got off easy compared to Jill because that Nemesis was more hunter/predator with only the purpose to kill all S.T.A.R.S. operatives without relent, rather than this one who was more combatant and actually seemed to have some brief memory of Alice before he was experimented on. Both franchises are good but the game made Nemesis more horrifying.

@@medalgear654 This Nemesis is based on the original PS1 RE3 Nemesis which wasn't as tall as the remake Nemesis, honestly the height difference between the RE3 original vs this movie is pretty small but the strength, durability and mutations between then is no contest. RE3 original Nemesis would rip this Nemesis apart with one hand
Are you downplaying alice? , alice was way more of threat than nemesis , while both of them gaining superhuman powers , alice didn't herself into a mutant , alice also gaining a much faster speed and reflexes than nemesis , plus gaining psychic powers , alice was the only successful carrier of the virus.

Pff no one in the games had telekinesis, hell the only person to show superhuman reflexes, strength and speed while still retaining a human appearance was Wesker. Oh and BTW Wesker was the best carrier of the virus since it didn't mutate him into a zombie

That's where Alice's powers came from. She didn't even have her powers anymore after Extinction because Wesker took them away in the beginning of Afterlife. And even then, she only had those telekinetic powers in Extinction.

The montage of this fight scene, can provoke an epileptic fit! As Jackie Chan said - When you see a montage in fight scenes where you can't see anything clearly, it means the actors don't know how to fight or they have a bad fight director!

Never realized how bad nemesis looked in this movie. It looks like an obvious costume
The practical effects were probably for the better.
Just look at the horrible cgi lickers, they look like they escaped from a ps2 cutscene.
They got the proportions wrong with nemesis. Plus the whole fist fighting scene just feels out of touch with his character. I feel like his design would have worked better in a more horror oriented movie. Plus adding the whole human element to nemesis, he’s suppose to be a cold blood killer that stops at nothing.
Yeah, he looks extremely top-heavy and the lifts in his boots are very obvious. The wide shots of the full costume did them no favors. But still, the attempt at a practical Nemesis is appreciated. I'd take that over a poor CGI model.

Nah, that movie was a genuine hot mess, terrible editing, nearly killed one of the best stuntwomen, and ditched all the OG characters.
As much as I love that hot mess of a franchise, Final Chapter should have never happened.
The franchise is just fine at Retribution where we’re still left with with all our heroes.
The only reason why I’d ever return to Final Chapter is for the Umbrella scenes. Acknowledging that Umbrella wanted to end the world was actually a good concept considering it was the goal for most of the main antagonists and finally gave Umbrella a purpose besides just being inherently evil.
Something even the games have yet to elaborate on.

It has poorly anything to do with the Nemesis from the games. In general, the entire movie franchise is crap. The first film was still going. After that it went steadily downhill. That's just how it is they barely stick to the template, do not capture the soul of the original.

This supposed upgrade was weaker than the first movie's creature. A lot less scary too because the first creature moved extremely fast, often coming out of nowhere. This is just a lumbering tank that's an easy target.
