What terrifies me of sentient infected/zombies in any media is how quickly they just shift from ordinary people to a new being whose goal is simply to infect healthy humans. The Professor here has adapted a whole new identity and was ready to leave his old life behind and start a new one (seemingly better one he had no idea existed, at least he believes that way now). I can't tell if it's the virus speaking or the man himself. In the Crossed comic, the infected people do this all the time. Also 28 weeks later's infected Don seems to operate this way. They just ditch their old lives, families, friends, career, house, everything and just purely focus on spreading the decease.

Marcus is one the original brothers and has been pretty much unbeatable up till this point, we can agree, but even he takes a step back or two when dealing with William. Nothing like William has ever lived.

Emmerich and Devlin obviously wanted to make another Jurassic Park, and used Godzilla as their T. Rex and his children as their velociraptors.
