    So why wouldn't RV manufacturer build aluminum skeleton aluminum skin and foam pad insulated trailer?

      I believe it is because of cost. Aluminum is very expensive to build with compared to wood and requires more skilled workers (welders specifically).

      ​​​@@RVingwithCorymaybe, thx. But what about fbg RV maker put aluminum sheet instead of fbg panel. I am sure there has to be a reason, but I can't figure out why it cannot be built like airplane, no need to be round just box shape still better with no wood. I like no wood in fbg trailer, but fbg will deteriorate and later crack and delaminate. I know airstream is aluminum rivet aluminum, maybe it is cost issue.

      I think it’s because the trailers that are fiberglass have more insulation than aluminum could provide plus weight.

    Everything about aluminum trailers is bad ironically you would think they are better because they are aluminum but they're not
