    As a person who owns a 192 -- I RECOMMEND NOT flipping the bed up in transit. Going over bumps puts a lot of pressure on the latch, and it moves a bit. We had to have our platform replaced. TRAVEL WITH THE BED DOWN.

      Thanks for the information. We haven’t seen that issue yet but we will definitely keep an eye out for that potential issue

    a great camper for weekends or vacations!!! bought memory foam for murphy bed - perfect! the pros of this camper far outweigh the usual cons of any camper. no deal killers here

    I own this trailer, I have had it for a year and I love it. I am a single female camper sometimes I take the grandkids and they enjoy the trailer. Its the perfect size to tow for me and it has everything I wanted in a trailer. Its has more storage space then i know that to do with. The only thing I would like is a side lift up extension for more counter space. But this is a great trailer.

    We love our 2020 192 -- It's so fun to see the changes. I wish our interior was white. And wished our window opened!

    Overall a nice floorpan. You're right, the kitchen needs drawers. I would also prefer a mirror in the bathroom over the sink, but I realize that may be difficult with the window on the rear of the trailer. I also agree with the comment earlier that the shower needs an enclosure..............I don't know how long wallboard would hold up in the shower with all the water.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety +1

      There is absolutely nothing wrong with using wall board in a shower. As long as you wipe it down after using the shower, it’s not going to hurt it. Normally it does have it but with all the parts shortages right now you never know what’s going to be different on these trailers when they come in.

    • @SolesTraveling
      @SolesTraveling Před 2 lety

      You can add a mirror on -- that is what we did with ours.

    I wish there was a small folding countertop extension on the right of the sink. maybe an upwards folding type would fit on the wall. and a higher faucet in the bathroom.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety +1

      When the Murphy bed is down, I’m not sure that a counter top extension would work. I’ll definitely pass it along to the manufacturer though. As far as the higher faucet in the bathroom that can be done aftermarket very easily.

      I added one to my 192, it does need to be collapsed when putting the bed up or down. The outer panel on the lower cabinet had to be reinforced to support the extension brace. Not a big deal and works well.

    We bought a brand new 2022 RPOD 192 here in Florida 2 months ago. Day 1, the water pump check valve lets the city water fill the H2O holding tank. I know I can have it warranty replaced but it would be the same cheap water pump with integrated plastic check valve. I want to install my own (brass) check valve but don't know how to get to the water pump. Any idea? Thanks in advance!

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety +1

      Personally while it is on warranty I’d have the pump replaced instead. The check valves on these water pumps usually don’t do that unless the were froze at one point.

      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety +1

      Also another thing could be the showermiser is turned on. When you do that the city water circulates back into the fresh water tank. Only use that when you don’t have hookups.

    What about winter camping with this rv? How cold can it get without freezing and causing damage?

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety +1

      These are not designed to be a cold weather unit. Water freezes at 32 degrees or below so you’ll for sure be fine to that temperature. They do have an enclosed underbelly to protect against road debris but it isn’t heated so really we suggest winterizing these r-pods with antifreeze if you’re going to be camping in extended cold weather. If it dips below freezing at night and gets back above freezing during the day you should be fine.

    • @SolesTraveling
      @SolesTraveling Před 2 lety +2

      We winter camp in our 192 all the time - it's not insulated, so as long as warms up in the day, no issues. (For example, it may be 15/16 at night, but 40 in the day -- and we're fine. If it doesn't warm up, we do a temporary winterize).

    So the mattress is a permanent mattress?
    Can you change it if you need to?
    What is the deal with it.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před rokem

      If you want to use the sofa, the best way to upgrade the mattress is a foam topper. If you don’t care about folding the bed up then yes you can change out the mattress.

    The murphy bed is a DEAL Killer . It's no fun stuck with a mattress you can't switch out. Also, the shower should have had some sort of paneling. Every time you shower you have to wipe down the walls. Another deal killer.- Other then those two things, nice camper.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 2 lety

      I’ve noticed that some of our campers we have been getting in don’t have ABS shower paneling. Could be a shortage on that particular part.
