    Another video that actually opens doors, drawers and the fridge...YES!!!! THANK YOU! It's so irritating to see review video's that do not open things, ugh. Love this floorplan!

    I know this is just a simple thing, but did I miss the outdoor shower? I have dogs and that hot/cold water outside after a swim or hike in the muck is a blessing.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety +1

      When Surveyor added the outdoor kitchen, they took away the outdoor shower in favor of a high pressure cold water spray port on the door side next to the outdoor kitchen.

    You did a tremendous job on the review of this trailer. Thanks. First great review on it showing all the great features of it. I have one ordered and waiting on the word to come pick it up. That Winegard on the roof has some cool features worth mentioning when you show this camper. I love that the 12 V fridge does away with the outside fridge access panel and the roof vent which are just more places to caulk and seal that are not there to worry about. The Azdel was a main selling point for me. The weight of this trailer is incredible as well.

      Thank you for the comments. We really appreciate it. Since you do have one ordered, one thing I noticed when we got this camper in was that the bar stools really don’t fit well in the under bed storage and you may want to install a strap or something next to the bar to tie them down. The 12 volt fridges are definitely a huge upgrade from last year as well. They use a fraction of the power and cool down easier. I will definitely mention more about the antenna in the future. I always try to not script my videos so sometimes little things like that get bypassed on accident. Haha

      @@RVingwithCory It was originally shown with a strap for those stools . Other items will be stored under the bed so definitely will be installing a strap. Another thing worth noting is that Go Power says you can add one more 80w panel to the roof without upgrading the solar controller. I will be adding a second battery as well. Max vent fans going in as well. Wish they would have let me make that option at the factory. Only gripe is that storage over the bed should have had doors. . Again, your reviews are top notch right up there with Josh the RV nerd. That camper will sell quickly. Lol

      Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate it. I would definitely do those same upgrades if it was my unit as well. I might be a little bit bias to the surveyors just because I own one but hopefully it didn’t show.

    Great review on this camper. I would, however, have liked to see the sofa in sleep/bed position as well. Just an observation for future videos. Thank you for your thorough review.

    Love this unit!! Not sure about the raised bar, would have had more counter top space with it lower. Love the sofa, storage and outdoor kitchen. This is one unit I would possibly trade my motorhome in for.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety

      Thank you for the comments. I agree it does pack a lot in a small package. If you lose the bar area though you wouldn’t have a dedicated place to eat if you option in the sofa as a dinette is the standard build. That’s why they do that at the manufacturer level.

    • @carolgarner8081
      @carolgarner8081 Před 3 lety

      I didn’t mean to lose the bar I just meant to make it all counter height same extension space to eat at, shorter stools. Love the sofa.

    Great Job. I’m just curious about the electric brakes on the trailer does it come with a battery,I would think so.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety

      If you buy a unit from us we include a battery, filled propane tanks, a starter kit, a full walk through, and the unit is cleaned and inspected before it leaves at no extra cost to you. Some other dealers charge for all that stuff.
      Back to the brakes, the truck controls the electric brakes unless the trailer comes uncoupled during travel. Then the brake-away cable will send all 12 volts of the battery to the brakes to slow the trailer down. That’s why it’s extremely important to have a good battery on your unit at all times. Hope that answers your question

    I like and think the 1943rb Northern Spirit is a much better design with the exception of the outside ladder and the Moride steps.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety

      The reason the Spirit does not have a ladder is that the ladder was the number 1 warranty complaint when they did use a ladder as well as the odd height of the sidewall when you add the roof vault. I have asked our sales rep about the solid steps and the big reason they could not add them is the position of the entry door. To add the steps they would have to move the door forward which would lose kitchen space. Every RV is the best for a different reason and that is why we like to carry both the Surveyor and the Spirit. They do things the other does not.

    Oddly no mention of the Tri-fold sofa and how it works.

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety +1

      That’s something I’m going to start working into the videos in the future. I now have a tripod to demonstrate that kind of stuff.

      @@RVingwithCory Thank you, I enjoyed the video overall. So the sofa with the foot rests shown is able to convert into a bed?

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes. It is an exclusive design that Surveyor partnered with LCI on. It’s essentially a tri-fold sofa with footrests.

  • @mdqcumber
    @mdqcumber Před 3 lety

    is there an option to expand the solar?

    • @RVingwithCory
      @RVingwithCory  Před 3 lety

      Not from the factory but you can chain multiple panels together to expand the solar capacity. I believe it’s either 2 or 3 80 watt panels before you have to upgrade the controller.
