I have an older version of the Franklin Stud Finder and I was amazed at how accurate it was and it is my go to tool. I was so impressed, I purchased them as gifts for my friends one Christmas and everyone is now using it too. Great video.

I’ve had a similar stud finder from Costco for years and it’s my go to. Even gave to all my siblings and dad for Christmas a while back and they loved them as well

I use neodumium magnets instead of a stud finder. Most drywall screws/nails are about 8" apart, so I move the magnet in an up and down 12" pattern across the wall until it finds a nail or screw to stick to. Finds the frankfurter every time. Easy Peasy

Frankfurter I love that you take the time to explain they whys and why’s nots of the tools you’re r reviewing. The last tool that I bought was upon your recommendation it’s the ALLOYMAN sander/polisher. I’m a recent follower as I am starting a small woodworking business out in CA and that laser level is 1 of small pieces that is missing from my woodworking tool arsenal. It would make a great addition ! I’ve always loved woodworking even as a kid, my first wood-shop project in high school was a six drawer dresser that lasted me thru my first marriage 😂. Thank you for all you do for us the small woodworking businesses!

I have a green stud finder similar to your Franklin. I have gotten rid of all my previous stud finders. Mine even has a little spirit level built into the handle. I always take it with me when I go to install cabinets for Habitat.
Oh, I bet that does come in handy with Habitat. I suspec this one will put my other one in the trash in the near future! :). Thanks as always for watchign Ken! :)

We normally have blocking installed between studs at Habitat, but sometimes they screw up. Actually, we install a ledger board to align the bottoms of the upper cabinets and we need to find studs to screw into. My Goingmake bench dogs arrived a couple of days ago. Well-made and seem to work well. See, there is another thing you made me buy.
@@kenerickson4923 Haha! I know, I legitamitely thought that woodworking woudl be a great way to save money, then I realized i love the tools and the gadgets too much to make this a frugal hobby! :). Glad to hear those benchdog clamps are working out so far. Really impressed with everything I've gotten from going make so far. They are coming out with a pocket hole jig this summer and they said they would give me one. Would love to see how that works!

Love the classic funny stuff in the video along with the amazing review of tools, it makes is so enjoyable. Thanks for the review my favorite tools were the stud finder the T-bevel and the laser. I don’t have a laser and just getting into wood working it would be nice addition to have Frankfurter, thanks for the opportunity to win one of them.
