    Allagash Lake's principal fisheries are native brook trout and lake trout also known as togue but the lake also contains less targeted cusk and rare arctic char.

    I do winter camping on Moosehead, picked up an Arctic Oven last year to expand my trips. I will visit Allagash lake this winter for sure. Really enjoyed your video

    Man you guys are up there. Not much snow this year. Cool camp and video. I was just at Webb Lake in Mt Blue St. Park camping. A hot tent sure is nice. Fire is a wonderful concept. Nice video.

      It would have to be a hand auger as there are no power augers allowed on the Lake (Allagash lake)

      what you saw was a chunk of sucker, we had smelt for bait but they froze then turned to mush when we tried to thaw them, rookie mistakes...

      @@tonylouvat5337 Oh... actually, now that you say that, I do remember people with their dogs on leashes at the Round Pond site. We tried to get into Allagash Lake via Johnson pond, but the stream was too low. It was like trying to paddle through mud. I believe we can portage in from the south end of the lake.
