Legendary game director Shinji Mikami has emerged from his non-compete clause with Tango Gameworks to apparently found a new studio, according to a report by IGN.

How is he legendary when most the games he directed either sucked hard or were mid as fuck? Ill give him RE1 and God Hand, great games, but everything else? Hell no.
@Wolf-or6ws the first game was as mod as you can get and even dips into 4/10 territory a lot of times, the second game was a big step up but I wouldn't give it more than a 7.5/10.

It would be equally tragic and hilarious for the same reasons if his last game turned into a dumpster fire like Callisto Protocol.

Evil within series were amazing

Resident Evil 4 and Vanquish as well. He also mentored the director of Devil May Cry. The Evil Within was like his only mid game.
