Avs fan. Jets D have done a good job of collapsing on the slot. Jets skaters are active everywhere. Helle needs to get it together. He's giving up rebounds, glove looks iffy, Manson froze him on a simple deke, slept on Wood, & the puck play flub. We all expected him to be a wall & their biggest strength. He's their great equalizer & IMO the Jets playoff all depends on him.

The Jets are lucky they're even in this series. Got outplayed both times but only survived due to Georgiev's atrocious game 1. If Georgiev holds up and stays at least average, they won't win another game.
Unfortunately true.. the jets are a deep defensive team, but it's hard for anyone to beat Colorado when they are playing their game. Sad hellebuyck has not played his best

@@JohnnyFalco The jets are not deep defensively. If you look at the advanced metrics, prior to the puck getting to hellebuyck, they are 17th in the league for defense. Once the puck gets to hellebuyck, then hellebuyck is ranked 1 or 2 depending on how you slice it. When you pair that with mediocre scoring, the Jets are quickly realizing that Colorado can and will outscore their goaltending. Jets cannot outscore anyone... especially not colorado and especially not playoff mackinnon and playoff makar.

Anyone notice how loud game 1 was and how quiet the fans were in game 2? It was quiet from the outset and had nothing to do with the Avs playing well. That 4 minute pk was huge and they stayed quiet even after the goal. The fans need to feed the team energy. Now the Jets have to silence the colorado fans. But Go Jets Go

Wtf is wrong with Helly??? His giveaway changed the whole game.
Pretty bad moment from him (a rare misplay being punished), but I'm honestly not sure Bross would be doing a load better. The chaos the Avs create down low matches poorly with how long it takes Bross to reset on initial chances. If Game 3 sucks butt and Helly really looks lost, alright, give it a go, but I would limit expectations.
If you WATCH, Neil Pionk poke checked the puck to the Acs player, then the Avs player threw it out front. Helly stopped the first shot, but Pionk couldn’t stop the second shot. So YET AGAIN, Pionks fault. Try to keep up.

Colorado was forechecking way more than the Jets were prepared for.
Harrison, if you remember the second round series in 2018 between The jets and Preds, it went back and forth. It is not unreasonable to think this series should go back and forth. I don't think it is a matter of Georgiev being good, the Avs just blocked all the shooting lanes so not many higg danger chances got to him. Georgiev is a very up and down player and all the jets need to find a way to get to him. If we are being honest, does it even matter? Vegas is looking too stacked and probably will win the west.
I think the Jets can finally beat the Knights. That is the level of stupid confidence I had coming into the playoffs haha.

@@LockedOnJetsNHL The Golden Knights have won at least their last 3 playoff games going back to last season's Stanley Cup final. It's possible the Jets will beat them in a 2024 playoff series but that means the Jets still have to take care of business against the Avs, and that's no sure thing.

If you watch the Vegas and Dallas series and compare it to Jets Avs, it’s like pro’s playing vs pee wees. Neither team stands a chance, especially with the Jets being so dumb to be playing Pionk and Stanley ffs. Pionk is directly responsible for at least 4 goals in 2 games. Absolutely RIDICULOUS. Ohh well. CFL draft April 30. Training camp right after.

I disagree. I think the slow way vegas wants to play favors the jets. Set up a solid defense, force mistakes, and counter. And the jets can certainly muck up the neutral zone and disrupt Dallas. The avs are happy to go free flow with Dallas and win 5-4. Vegas would try to clog the zone against the avs too, but they will do a better job at breaking through than Dallas has. I like the winner in this one in the wcf
