      Barcelona won that 2009 CL SFinal vs Chelsea with 10 Men,up until the red the score was still in Chelseas favor,Chelsea just had to defend the score and 10 Men Barca had to score against 11 Men Chelsea in very short space of time and they achieved that against the odds,Chelsea have no right to be crying for the defeat,but they still do.Totally different scenario with ManCity,2 goals wrongly disallowed for them and an offside goal allowed against them,these werent missed calls,these were wrong goals,yet Pep Guardiolas gracious.

    Why does everyone say Pep is exposed whenever he loses a game as if other managers don't lose games? This has been said since last season but he dominated the league this season with his tactics no lie expect him to be competing for the title again next season. Just stop with the hate of his success

      Even in slow mo it wasn't clear. You had to freeze frame and even then he was just an inch offside. Cant blame the ref or linesman there for not seeing that. Those are 50/50 calls. Happens every game. Liverpool did what they had to do and put Man city away over 2 legs. The refs played no role in the outcome of that.

    • @ganjaextravaganza
      @ganjaextravaganza Před 6 lety +4

      Sully S yes, some decisions do go against you at big occadions like these. An english refree would've definitely given the foul on van dyk by sterling which led to the goal, we see those type of fouls given in PL. I mean it was such a naive move by pep they couldve easily pulled it back liverpool was on the ropes, city played much better in the first half than what liverpool played at anfield ofcourse sans goal. I am a liverpool fan btw and i think we are winning this year. 😊

      same here. I thought the first goal was a fould but the second was fine - kinda evened itself up. can bang on all you want about Salah being offside in the forst game - but it doesn't matter. 5-1 is pretty convincing. Don't care who we draw next round - just hope we are still the "Underdogs" muhahahahaha

    • @classicalbhargav
      @classicalbhargav Před 6 lety +2

      pudboy123456 "it doesn't matter"? How does it not matter? If Salah's goal was ruled offside a completely different situation would have taken place. If Sane had converted his chance then a completely different situation would have taken place. If Sané's goals was allowed going 2-0 up at half-time would have given us a psychological advantage. All these decisions matter. Please don't treat this like a small issue. When we played Everton in the beginning of the season Kyle walker got two yellows for soft tackles. We played with 10 men for 60 minutes, and we looked like we were going to win. When Mane got sent off you guys didn't defend properly, nor did you attack. So did that decision not matter. I'll tell you why it didn't matter in this case. You conceded 5. Obviously we conceded 5 and that just goes to show how poor our defence can be. Props to Liverpool for the first leg performance but this second leg was quite unfortunate and I'd say that we lost the second leg because we didn't play the we were expecting to play in the second half. Every decision matters. How much does it matter is the question. And every decision that went against us mattered a lot because they could've changed the course of the game. But do I think that we deserved to go forward, no because we didn't play good enough. That champions league trophy will be ours sooner or later. C'mon City!

    Let’s be honest, Pep is a great manager, but look at what Klopp has achieved with the average squad Liverpool have. If you compare the value of Man City’s team tonight against Liverpool’s, Man City’s is worth way more. You also have to factor in the sale of one of the best players in the world, Coutinho.

      Klopp is no doubt a great manager, but he hasn't won any trophies yet and doesn't have as much pressure as Pep to win a major title with Liverpool. Pep is expected to win every major trophies every year and if doesn't, like last season, he is considered a fraud. His tactics didn't work over the 2 legs against Liverpool, but at least he didn't compromise his ideals and park the bus to get some result.. His players tried their best too..

    Its true his system to hold and roll the ball around and "create" chances has the best chance to get the most points out of 30+ games, thats proven in spain, germany and england. But it sucks in deciding games. Any team with motivated world class players is able to counter that. The reason he won the champions league with Barca were Messi, Iniesta, ... . He doesn't have these kind of great players in Manchester

      @PhliFlaVlog Před 6 lety +3

      Manu Gupta so you think it counts as if a ManCity-player had played the ball there? No, man...
      The ball comes from Karius -> new situation -> Milner puts it to Sane. It would only have been offside if The ball had been played by a ManCity player just before Milners touch and with Sané being offside. The touch before Milners was from Karius. Even if that doesn't create a new situation already: When KDB made the cross before Karius touch, Sané was not offside.
      I am a Liverpool fan, but I must admit that we were extremely lucky there.

    • @philosopher-x
      @philosopher-x Před 6 lety +3

      Even then it doesn't count as an offside. Going by your logic we need to see ManCity's last touch which came when KdB played it to Sane, and it wasn't offside then. After that the two touches came from Liverpool players: Karius and Milner.

      @PhliFlaVlog Před 6 lety

    I'm a Liverpool fan and I think City were hard done by. In both legs, Liverpool got all the major decisions in their favour. Salah WAS offside in the first leg, Sterlin WAS fouled in the box in the first leg, Sane WASN'T offside in the second leg.
    These are decisions that have a HUGE impact on the result. We're talking away goals and goals at crucial points of the games.
    5-1 is NOT a fair reflection of the two legs. Just cause I support Liverpool, doesn't mean I have to be biased and stupid.

    If Milner passed the ball back is not offside, but if the ball rebounds off of Milner than it’s offside.

      Sir Alex Ferguson did not do shit outside of England. 2 ucl in 24 seasons as a head coach of United? Zidane did same (won ucl twice) in 1.5 seasons :DD There will be dozens of managers who will have much better statistics than Sir Alex did have.
      To me Guardiola is real philosopher

    Same old Pep. Same old excuses. We created chances, we had ball possession, offside, penalty, team bus damaged, the referee doesn't like me. Without Messi this fraud can't win the champions league lol. It's ok just spend another half billion blood money and you might reach the semi finals. Best team the premier league has ever seen? You're having a laugh.

    City fans need to understand. Its still a successful season. Wining the championship league is tough especially with bayern real Madrid.
    The fashion which city won the league is remarkable.
