Such a sad meeting. It was love at first sight for him, but for her it was love at first fright.
Or fright at first sight for The Bride.
Its amazing how the bride has gone to become such a big part of pop culture and universal monsters in general, when she actually seems to have a very small role or appearance in the main movie in general .
I love this classic monster movie. I love her scream and her hissing
Fun facts about this movie.
The actress had to wear stilts to look taller because she was only 5'4". She avoided drinking water before shooting because it took too long to get her out of costume so she could use the restroom.
Boris Karloff hated the idea of the Frankenstein monster being able to talk.
I do too, the audience can tell she hates him. It’s actually not hate, she’s terrified. Him voicing that made it kinda goofy instead of the sad scene that it was.
🐚🌸
Her head movements. So doll like. I love it
She reminded me of a bird.
Terrific point of view my friend!
"She hate me..........like others."
"just ask her out, the worst she can say is no"
She probably liked him he just went a little fast
Didn't even friendzone him.
This is straight classic
Certified monster classic
Elsa Lanchester was quite striking!
And all while the monster was striking out. Ha !
the bride is beautiful
you're down bad
@@zentunozentuno1012 ok?
Yeah because she was mostly made from scratch i think
As Owen Grady said in Jurassic World, she is seeing all this for the first time. She has no idea of who she once was, who Frankenstein and Pretorius are, and who exactly the Monster is. So of course she’s going to act like a frightened child to what she is seeing.
Doesnt really make sense tho if you have never seen anything before you would think the first things you see are normal you would have no pass judgment on anything
@@urdad7318 Yes It do make sense so you can't be talkin 🙄🙄
This movie predicted how modern dating would be a hundred years ago.
😂убил
😂😂😂
Yeah guy wants to move too fast and traumatizes the ladies :(
@@coveruplies moving too fast you say? It wouldn't be fast enough if it was Brad Pitt or Chris Hemsworth.
You’re not Brad Pitt or Chris Hemsworth lol
All he wanted was to be friend-zoned and he couldn’t even get that 😢
Man, couldn't they have cleaned dude up before introducing her? She was probably hissing at him 🤣 because he looks like he stinks from wearing the same clothes for months!!!! 😆😆😆
Story of my life.
Reminds me of my first blind date.
Lol
@@MrAquinas1 haha
"Blind date?"
@@joeerickson516I feel like i am FRANKENSTEIN because i don't have a GIRLFRIEND/WIFE, that's so sad and lonely
That’s rough buddy
Ya gotta buy them dinner first!
And tell them a thousand lies about how wonderful they are.
He could have dressed a little.
1:46 Aw,he's comforting her.
THE GRANDEST MASTERWORK OF ALL HORROR..RELEASED: 1935!!!
My favorite scene in the movie. Love when the music kicks in at 0:14
The Bride of Frankenstein belongs to a small group of movies in which the titular character is on screen for only a few minutes but leaves an unforgettable impression (Dr. Strangelove is another). Elsa Lanchester does a brilliant job here. Her birdlike movements and reptilian hiss are particularly memorable and suggest that the Bride's higher brain centers may not have survived the "operation" fully intact.
aww poor Frankie @ least he tried
@@jacobschweitzer1068 ik
the OG monster girl
Ahhhhhuuuuhhhhah! She is perfect! Friends...Cassidy could teach him how to "Monster Mash".
some l of the best physical acting I have ever seen
The monster survived the explosion but the bride did not.
Loved how her sixth sense alerted her to Frankenstein's monster being
in the same room with her. She knew something was up, just like a
honeymoon night! lol!
That's strange. Usually, the man screams during the wedding, not the woman. Whatever works, I guess. 🤭
Elsa Lanchester 1:56 did a good job of the bride
Elsa was so beautiful. Even in Mary Poppins, so many years later.
They should had made the bride blind so that that she will not see him
nice video bro
Dr Frankenstein gave birth to all the zombies of the future .
Today some may think this is funny not scary but back in 1935, this was terrifying. Even now, with the old style black & white reel tape, this is super creepy still. Particularly when you learn that Elsa Lanchester herself had 2 abortions in the 1920s, one of which was botched & permanently sterilized her.
@@susieaxym You need to go back to school & learn to read. I literally said this was terrifying for the time & even now with the low quality black & white visuals, this is still creepy as heck. Particularly when you realize how vile of a person Elsa Lanchester was in real life.
Its nice to have a woman in the house.
Even if she made up of dead parts.
@@JohnLee-pt5jz Arent they all?
@@danielsalinas6683I mean your not wrong 😂
The bride wanted the handsome man hahahaaa poor monster
Shame on her for breaking his heart
She was no prize herself!!!!
and now can somebody tell me, that alcohol is no solution

He's so extra!
😂
If you mute the bride screaming, you can hear the sound of the Monster's heart breaking
Poor thing he was so happy and now he is sad so go take a NAP.
Nice do!!!!!
that goose sound , weeehh
If that is the Bride, of Frankenstein who is the groom? Should they have titled the film, "The Bride of the Frankenstein Monster?" Yet, Dr. Pretorius says, "The Bride of Frankenstein."
Because the bride was made by Frankenstein duh.
He is not called Frankenstein
He is the monster
She's a monster too...but doesn't like the monster that loves her.
Im going to be her for halloween i hope i do a good job :)
She moves like a bird.
Walking dead people are good howlers!
Watching these movies now in 2023 is more funny

Yes, these are the Libs of TikTok only much much classier and better looking....
... What?
Such stupidity for a title. Frankenstein was the Dr. Not the momster. People see/hear an unusual name, and automatically think of a monster. Did nobody pay any attention to the books, or the original movie?
Como tiveram a desfaçatez de produzir um "lixo" desses...
😢
Trash?
This movie is a trip , she only comes out for 9 min and then dies lol . Frank killed her cause she turned him down .what a nut
What?! They were never in love?? But they look so happy together on my coffee mug...
Lady GaGa! 💙❤️
