Are the film makers sending somekind of message based on americas lies from the past? WW2 the united states dropped the nukes in the vain hope that the japanese would surrender immediately. But even after 2 nukes the japanese fought on, fact of the matter was that the japanese didn't surrender until the russians was a bigger threat than the u.s forces. But both the u.s and the japanese have been telling the offical version for 79 years, not a single world war two movie including the japanese has ever mentioned any russian involvement and the version that most people know is nukes dropped followed by total surrender a couple of days later. Just like the official story about the purge that every purge supporter in these movies have been brainwashed with!
