I'm glad that i didn't buy all the birkins and kellys I was offered! My SA later told me that she rejecting quota bag offers made her think that i was truly shopping for the sake of using and not just collecting or reselling. That's why she invited me to place a special order!

Really enjoyed this video, thanks! So glad to hear that you feel the Row leather goods are not worth the money! I really like the design of the Margaux bag but just felt one in person today, in a grained leather that looked like Hermes Clemence leather, but it did not feel the same!! It’s not as supple and the leather was also quite thin. That plus the canvas lining meant the bag did feel lightweight which is probably more practical, but it’s so hard to not feel disappointed once you’re used to Hermes leather quality!!
What are the affordable leather goods brands you mention toward the end as alternatives to The Row? I had never heard of them and am not sure how to spell them.
I think you would like the Chaumet “Bee my Love” bracelet. It’s worth a try.

Pilling cashmere is my number 1 pet hate. I have recently bought a silk/ cashmere blend knitwear piece from brunello to avoid the pilling. Will let you know how it goes, hoping the silk reduces pilling.
I could actually see you with the fendi bag, the texture looks special while still fitting with your aesthetic. Anyway, it’s done, don’t look back! There will always be other opportunities…hopefully H doblis 🤞
I really appreciate your comments on the Row. I have only ever purchased two pieces and it was definitely underwhelming because it didn’t fit me very well. My husband guessed the top was H&M. I returned it 😅. I feel it might fit tall women better, but I am 5ft 4. I will def not invest in anything else at this point. Interesting to hear you think Loro piana is better quality. I have that feeling too.

I think the silk may reduce pilling. Brunello cashmere definitely pills, but it cleans up good as new at the dry cleaners, not necessarily true for lesser brands!

Where did you get it? I want one in red and only in red, size 18. Reached out to two SAs in the US and neither have seen the bag in person. One is in San Diego and another one is in Vegas.

I had my first necklace/bracelet and 2 pairs of earring from Bucheron a very long time ago. The hype was their cabochon and diamond pieces.
First, the copies or fakes that were made were so identical and had become sooo popular and common that was a turn off. Many brands did the same and then the whole hype died down. Their jewelry are beautiful but look kind of retro and definitely do not feel good for a lifetime! I had to sell all that I had for a fraction of what I had paid as they were sold by the price of the gold/ diamond and the cabochons on the pieces!!!!

RTW yes if I can find a piece that fits me well and definitely no to the accessories and bags… honestly I pretty much compare all bags with the ones with similar styles in Hermès and say no to them all the time. See what the big H did to us? 😜

Why does Hermes use Epsom leather for a lot of bags? I dislike this leather so much! It looks so cheap. Can you tell me why they use this texture at all?
