Wow, thanks!
Another amazing video, very easy to follow! Could you do a video on wireless security cameras/systems.
great video as always i did have boundary alarm connectivity was a pain in the bum as it kept saying connection failed even after retrying
Excellent videos subbed 👍
Thanks for subscribing
Hi just 1 thing battery's ?? will they not go flat and have to replace them all the time ??? cheers Danny
Can you please do a heating system wiring such as s plan, y plan and how to incorporate maybe a hive or a Google nest
Hi, Can the door contacts be set to entry/exit so it doesn't set the alarm of like in the video? thanks
Yes you can set entry routes.
Boundary has gone into administration and have pulled support
Thanks mate, it was a great a review of the system, just a quick question about battery consumption? Is it gonna last long?
I believe so but the product is no longer supported as boundary have disbanded
How is it? Do the tape hold them on their place or do they fell off? We want to get this system. :)
Going strong so far 👍
With the wiring in place I'd of have gone for another wired system just so I didn't have the training wire down the wall from the control unit 🤔
Boundary have now scrapped the required subscription with more than two sensors, you can now opt for the free with unlimited sensors.
Its still shit that they don't provide push notifications for free once the alarm is triggered - Boundary should just do a free package and a separate police response package.
Another excellent video - really enjoying your content; please keep it coming!
I’d love to know what knife you used to open the boxes there - it looks really neat!
Thanks, glad you find the channel useful. It's an old Gerber flick knife.
Great video as always. Surprised you've gone for wireless over a wired system given most burglars carry a frequency jammer in their pocket and can just walk in freely without alarm going off. Personally i'll stick to wired in the same way as CCTV cameras. Wireless install is a breeze, but not much help when you come back to an empty house. What are Boundary and others doing to combat jamming?
Could you have hard wired the hub into another socket to remove the cable altogether?
No as the plug is a transformer so cutting the plug off and hard wiring it into a socket will blow fuck out of the hub.
I was wondering about this too. According to the website the power connector is usb C. So I reckon you could rig something together. Maybe a recessed box with a usb socket installed behind the control panel.
Which alarm system would you recommend since boundary is no longer trading
Either Orisec or Pyronix, they are one of the best brands of alarm systems you can get.
Be interesting how long the outdoor siren batteries last?
Still going in mine 😃
@@TheDIYGuy1 they be last about 12-14 months, however when the siren is sounding you sometimes can’t stop it as the siren takes so much power the sounder can’t communicate and thus can’t be stopped.
anyone recommend similar wireless alarm set ups?
Does this use Wi-fi, Z-wave or Zigbee? Can this be integrated into Home Assistant?
Hi, yes it can
Is this company still trading and does your equipment still work because apparently they've gone into liquidation
Would the app still work if Boundary go out of business?
Only if they keep the server plugged in and will likely stop working when android and IOS require updates. Seems the cellular back up has stopped as they will need to pay somebody for that. System is as good as dead if they don’t get taken over.
Web site no longer working! Looks like they have ceased trading.
They've gone into liquidation.. Buyer beware!
Lol 😂
Lol, I was just watching this video and thinking oh shit, this will absolutely not work if they go away. Check the comments. There it is!
Local control, no cloud is the only way.
Boundary have now ceased trading and gone into liquidation.
So I have heard!
@@TheDIYGuy1 😶 literally was trying to order too
Call me old fashioned but having cable (in capped tray) on the wall is awe full , why not do job proper and channel out plaster board, it looks x10 neater
I believe that boudary technologies has now ceaced trading.... You may want to update this video.
Verisure, boundary or simply safe which one is better? There's only one way of finding out, FIGHT.

The Company has been placed into liquidation
This company have gone in to liquidation, so you may want to remove this video *or at least mark your video as such)
Boundary have gone bust. Just in case anyone is looking to buy.
Hate to be proved right but they went into liquidation in March 2023 leaving customers who paid good money with no support! Buy from a reputable UK company.
Great system unfortunately company in administration.
I've heard that 😞
Hey mate, are you going to address the fact that this company has now gone into liquidation and the alarm system including its smart functionality no longer works? Your promotion is selling people a dead on arrival product.
Should probably get rid of this video now the company doesn’t exist anymore.
They've now gone bust!! Great for us customers!! Not!!
Ew
Sorry but alarms are a waste of time and money. The alarm going off needs neighbours to do something. They wont and even if they call the police, they will not turn up. Even if you pay for a monitored alarm, good luck with anything apart from a call to say your alarm is going off!
