These are sooo beautiful! I’m loving your process. May I ask how you get to the shape first? Do you start with a big square and cut away most of it and hollow it out or do you handbuild them with thick clay and then work away the clay? Thanks soo much.

Thanks! I start off with a big lump and just carve everything else away for all my kurinuki. I never slab build first or anything like that
