Very convenient! Superb.
I won this pressure cooker at my local small town store. First thing I've won since the 1990s! I've used it a few times now and love it. I first thought the pressure release on top was broken because it just flopps around, but this is normal. Be sure all pressure is released and you don't have your hand over the pot when opening unless you want to be steam burned. (No. I wasn't burned. But I can see how this could happen. )

Hello! the video was helpful. I have 1 doubt though, when the food is getting cooked inside the cooker can we touch the outer body of the cooker?.. the lid or sides? or does it gets hot from outside too?
Hello Arya, great question. The sides are warm but per our test kitchen, not hot enough to cause a burn. The 'plastic' on the cover and handles is a heat resistant material that can be touched. However, the metal parts on the cover are extremely hot. Please use caution when using the cooker.

Is this similar to whistling pressure cooker? Same concept. I feel the whistling pressure cooker gives me anxiety when using it. Is this much similar?
This pressure cooker is virtually silent. There are no whistle sounds. There are tones that signal the end of the cooking time and you may hear a soft “whooshing” sound when the pressure cooker is venting.

This is an electric counter top cooker with so many safety features that you can relax using it! The old whistling ones that were stove top mainly, scare me too!

How come nobody shows how the cooking rack is supposed to sit at the bottom?
That is what I'm trying to figure out! Does it go under the pot or in the pot?

Can you put frozen meat in the cooker to cook
You may add frozen meat, but add a few minutes to compensate for cooking time. The times in the manual are suggestions for thawed meat. Frozen poultry may have a rubbery texture if you cook it from a frozen state, but for food safety purposes, it will be fine. Call 1-800-877-0441 for more information.
Yes you can. I use frozen chicken parts to make soup all the time. They do not recommend using big roasts from frozen state nor cooking whole chicken from any state.

You can certainly make scrambled eggs in your Presto® Precise® electric pressure cooker. Use the sauté setting for your favorite egg recipe. I own this pressure cooker and it's been the best I've ever bought! The only critique I have is that the video doesn't show how to put the lid back together properly. It sort of skims and you're left wondering where this one part goes. Fixing that in the video would be perfect! Also the little silicone cover that goes over the central post, does not fit as shown. As a matter of fact, I have to really push it down so it stays on there like the video shows it should look. Other than that, the cooker is amazing and reasonably priced. It's so easy to use, my husband who makes most of our meals due to my disabilities, has learned how to use it and it now becomes his go to appliance. When you can make Navy Bean soup and beef stew in a matter of twelve minutes, you know this is the pot for you!!! 💕💕💕

Geewhizz. I am a staunched vegetarian hindu and although I do not like the meat look, i listened to the narrator and took the cooking idea from him...I will use this idea for my type of food...choose what you want from the video. Leave the rest.
