For some reason.. I think the base of the wand must rest on the energy center between the palm and the wrist; in the middle. It is the part Reiki doers use, and eastern energy practitioners.
The fingers must point the wand into the direction of the energy released from the this center, and the arm must be positioned to maximize release of energy.
I've never touched a non-toy wand in my life, though.

Yes I do. The one I use with the crystal has copper through it too which also gives it another feel.

ive found a stick when i was walking. I picked it up. Then i found small black rock. I went home and got rock, stick, black marker, isolative tape and superglue. I painted the stick using marker. Then i glued stone. Next i made holding space using tape. Will it work? I did light a street lamp using it, but it seems to dont work anymore. Have you any tips to fix it?

You can use your wand to work with the fire element. I believe that the Harry Potter wands are made from a resin or latex and are not real wands.

Im not wiccan I personally practice Draconic Magick and in Draconic Magick we only typically use one of 3 tools which are The Wand, The Staff, And The Cane. But Draconic Magick practiciners typically specialize in one of those 3 tools and one of the benefits of Draconic Magick. Is that in Draconic Magick the tool we specialize in acts as our altar so we don't need a formal altar also a common misconception is that a lot of people think Draconic Magick is Wicca. But it's not because Draconic Spirits are neutral spirits meaning they don't follow any particular spiritual or religious path. You can actually work with Draconic Spirits in any spiritual or religious path because they don't have a code of conduct like Wicca does. So they will work with anyone the reason people think Draconic Magick is a Wiccan practice is purely because DJ Conway was a Wiccan and she worked with Draconic Spirits. And she wrote the first publicly available books on Draconic Magick but the truth is that if you actually talk with these Draconic Spirits they will tell you that they aren't Wiccan. Because the Draconic Spirits predate the Wiccan religion as a matter of fact Draconic Spirits predate every religion of humanity too. And I know this because of 2 reasons and those are that when I talked to the Draconic Spirits they said that they predate every deity of humanity as well as angels and demon's. The second reason is because when I evoked the other entities of other religions and I talked to them in person they also said that the Draconic Spirits predate their own existence. The only place where it gets kind of iffy is when you ask these other deities and spirits how much older the Draconic Spirits are then them they don't know a exact number. And I think that's just because of the fact that the Draconic Spirits predate them by so much that they can't give a exact number of years.
i'd be decking that out, but i always got to have a solid one for solid workings....But i like having my crystals, and my very first one was a pine cone wand, found it with the pine cone on the very tip and still got it hanging in my room...

Useful video!One question.Three years ago I bought a Harry Potter wand and it’s so beautiful that I would like to use it in my craft but only if I put a clear quartz on the top but unfortunately it’s not made from wood.The question is ,can i place wooden pieces on my hp wand and a crystal so I can make it a real wand?Will is still work if I place wooden pieces and a crystal?
it depends on what the wand is made from. If it's a resin or latex then it might not allow the energy to flow well through it.

A wooden crafted wand is fine. Make sure it's natural materials.

I'm Interested in buying this wand however the tip of the wand is not very pointy it's more round. Do you think this matters? Like if it has more point the energy projects better through the wand than if the wand was flatter at the tip?
Most wands have a blunt tip, it's the athame that projects from a sharp tip.

I’ve been thinking about buying a wooden wand my question is does it matter what kind of wood I use for casting spells ? I read online certain wood types are good for specific things so I’m just curious.
Different woods do have different energies and can influence the spell. Most can be used for spellwork. You'll get a feel for when your wand will suit a spell or not.

Can we not call it a witch's wand? That term was used to destroy all of the indigenous women who used natures remedies.
