Kindly make a vlog over new year resolutions too pls. Thanks
Hello Peter; I personally am very happy that here in Barcelona, bullfights were removed, I totally disagree with this animal cruelty, fortunately there are many of us who increasingly think so, and that this type of cruel and bloodthirsty spectacles should be removed. It is not art, it is savagery and torture for the poor animal.thanks for sharing. Cheers.♥
After having seen it with my own eyes, I 100% agree, Beatriz.
@Michaela Abbott it IS a CRIME! FOR JAIL
I am really glad that making these videos has been meaningful to you despite the challenges, because watching them has been meaningful to me. Another takeaway for you from 2022 - you are making a positive difference in the world. Enjoy your holiday.
Thank you for the kind words, I appreciate it! 😊
One of your best videos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks @vijijeyakumar! I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the video. ✨
My favorite quote - Mr Gandhi said "live simply so that others can simply live"
Wonderful quote ✨
Only found your channel a couple of weeks ago and have subscribed. Having caught up on all your other videos, which I have enjoyed, I can say this one is your best so far. There was much about it I found myself nodding in agreement to, but I also found much to think about and consider. Having started my journey into more intentional living just over a year ago (and there is definitely more work to be done on my part) I feel I finally know who I really am and what I want from life. It may have taken me 54 years to get here, but I have never felt happier, more peaceful or more confident. Please keep producing your content, I have no doubts your audience will continue to grow.
Thanks for sharing, Amanda! I'm glad this video resonated with you. And also sounds like you're in a good place right now in life, that's wonderful to hear. Take care! 😀
I enjoy your videos its calm and you make videos or content or delivery them on your own clam way.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for another thoughtful video. I love the “get to” philosophy and your awe of our place in this universe is contagious thank you.
That balloon bang! 😆 Unbelieveble great done! And Hail Mary project... Red that book 3 weeks ago. Great book! Well done!
I loved the cosmic meditation part, I do that too! Lately i've been experimenting with three ingredient dishes to add some minimalism to my cooking.
That's a great cooking practice! Reminds of Italian cuisine, where dishes often have few ingredients but they taste good because of the quality of the ingredients used. 🍽
Beautiful, relaxing and inspiring video.
Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Happy 2023!
What a great video..both entertaining and educational. I've saved it to re listen to it while i work tomorrow , Happy new year!
Beautiful video, Peter. Thank you for bringing your experiences into the world and taking up positive space in our digital lives. Looking forward to learning from your experiences in 2023!
Thanks JP, great to hear you enjoyed the video! 😉
This is a very nice video! I love your videos! I feel motivated and relaxed at the same time. Thank you for the qualities of your videos.

Hi Peter, thanks for your awesome video. Have a cool Yule, greetings from Darwin 🎄🎄🎄
Happy holidays to you, too! 🎄
I like the idea of dont tell but show.
That's a great one! 😉
channel whisper "subscribe" that was funny xD
I really needed this video today!!🤩
I'm glad you liked it! 🙌🏻
great content, thank you Peter! And merry christmas!
Same to you!
Re thanking the object - it is perhaps even more meanignful to thank all the people who enabled me to have the object. Zen buddhist meal chants talk about the people who enabled us to have the food.
Great suggestion, thanks for sharing! 🙏🏻
Thanks for sharing your great lessons Peter! Your videos always teaches me to have a positive mindset for life 😊
My pleasure, Christina! ✨
Thank you watched it till ended.. learned it
Great, I hope you enjoyed it and value out of the video! 😀
THIS IS SO TRUE THANKS
I'm happy to hear you liked the video, Jadine. ✨
Thank you Peter for your wonderful video! This really bring out a life I could have. Not just the boring 9-5 job and life that I have. It makes you appreciate whats around you. Such a great video my friend! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy to hear that! 🙏🏻
Life long lessons learned in one year for you and one video for me! Lovely video brother Peter! ❤
You're welcome, Ahmed! Glad you got value out of the video 😀
A seriously valuable video. A pleasure to watch and ponder about afterwards. Thank you for the obvious care and thoughtfulness you put into making it.
Thanks Penny! I'm happy to hear the video resonated with you and gave you food for thought. Take care! ✨
Great video Peter Cook! I find your video's relatable to how i am living life nowadays - more intentional. I do agree that we are the average of our 5 closest friends. I find your video's very relatable. Good job on this one, I am looking forward to more video's from you. Happy holidays and I hope you are doing well today!
Happy holidays to you, too, Josephine! 🎄 ✨
Wow nice one Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching, Alexandrea!
I wish you a happy new year Peter, I hope you are well, and soon you will download another interesting video, a hug from Barcelona.😘
Same to you! 🥂 Working on new videos right now 😀
@@IAmPeterCook 👋👋👍😘
Great video, thanks for sharing! Find happiness in your day don't wish your life away.
Glad you liked it, Neil! 😀
I think you would love Jim Rohn's writings. Very good common sense advice - he influenced many modern-day inspirational speakers. There are a lot of recordings of his talks available on Spotify and CZcams. Thank you for the inspiring content, Peter. Had to laugh at the whisper ... SUBSCRIBE!! 🤣
Thanks for the suggestion, will check him out! And glad you enjoyed the whisper joke 😂
I really like your thoughtful and considered reflections on minimalism, broadening things out to living life well, productively and slowly. I far prefer this style to those who have rules for minimalism based on quantity, for example.
I was never very materialistic. But on discovering minimalism and stoicism, was intrigued by the fact that almost all those who have intelligently reflected on a meaningful life (indeed a philosophy of life) came to the same conclusions about possessions and the hedonic treadmill. So I went through a phase of deep minimalism (not the one bag sort), really as a corrective to a life that was fairly conventionally Western (if, as I say, not very materialistic). Then that progressed to allowing more things into my life in an intentional way (based on your apartment, probably a similar level to you - some things that are simply beautiful). But I like a visually calming and relative sparse environment. Wardrobe simplification was also a major part of this - good quality, but simple in style and fairly similar. One less set of decisions to make (aided by having able largely to give up formal business wear - done to one suit, used less than 10 times a year).
I also very much like the quote about being the average of the five people you spend most time with, which resonates with my experiences.
Thanks for your thoughtful comment, Alec! 🙏🏻
hello,
I just subscribed........I have a question, not related to the video at all .........but is Peter Cook your real name? I'm intrigued. I lived in NL for 10 years and I recognise the accent.........I don't understand the very English sounding name, and can't align it in my own mind with the content you are creating. thanks for clarifying.
Well spotted...I use the English translation of my last name, sounds a bit better in English 😉
I was expecting you to elaborate or make a point about the fast Spanish speaking.
one thing:practice slow first thenspeed up...
I prefer videos without b-roll. I like a more minimalist viewing experience and almost always the b-roll simply is a picture of what is being mentioned. I would rather watch you as I am listening to you.
It's something I intend to experiment with more in 2023 😉
Goeie video, lekker bezig 😊
Thanks!
