    Thank you very much for the interesting examples of Revit massing tutorial you have been publishing here that go a long way to de-mystify the process of creating mass in Revit. Keep the good work

      Thank you for your kind words. I am trying to create some complex Zaha Hadid type of building. But first of all I have to completely understand its drawings and sections and plans before I can make one. So lets hope I am successful in that.

    Hi there, thank you for the tutorial. I have created an organic form and got the stage of placing adaptive components on my mass, but the form doesn't seem to allow a roof structure to be created over it. Why might that be?

    Great tutorials. The speed used makes us understand better. I have a problem, as I have a high rise building and want to attach a shopping mall to it. But my roof is parametric, and whatever I try it either not the exact measurements or not in the right position. How can I attach a new massing to an existing one and have them both of the same scale

    • @LetsRevit
      @LetsRevit  Před 4 lety

      Thank you for your feedback. To have massing of same scale, you have to draw according to the exact measurements. Because in Revit you can not change the scale.
      As for the parametric roof you are talking about, you can send me the pictures of the design at letsrevit.tutorials@gmail.com, because it is difficult for me to understand like this.

    For parametric shouldn't we go with rhino.but i want drafting, documentation and stuff like that butyou started from 3d and just made ut..but i cant find what i want.i want to make a whole project on building having parametric shape.
    Thanks for tutorial

      Obviously every software has its own pros and cons. I have never used rhino but with Revit you can create many complex parametric designs. All of the software are used to help in the drafting and documentation steps but before that there is always in mind what we want to draw, its not like that you start modelling directly without a design process or some sketches. Let me know if there is any sort of help you require.

    Hello great video. I have a problem though. When i finish the mass, it says that mass contains only mesh geometry and can't be used for creating surface, mass floors and volume. What can i do? I followed your tutorial ,but with my own curves

    • @LetsRevit
      @LetsRevit  Před 4 lety

      This is not an error. It is just Revit telling you that your mass is only a mesh geometry. Basically when the mass is enclosed with volume, you can add automatic floors in it. Which is not possible in case a simple surface with no width. So don't worry about this warning. Just ignore it.

      I like your tutorial you makes it simple to understand and learn, I applied your tutorial and it worked well for me
      but I'm working on school project which is a parametric roof have a tree leaf shape and the surface is not flat but it have some pumps areas and it's not going well
      If you can do a tutorial of how to make a free parametric shapes it will be great and I will be very glad to you
      Thanks
