As an Indian woman, I'm sorry but I have to agree with him 100%. If anything, I thank him for calling it out, and it's mostly because of family and friends contacts that most CEOs of top companies are Indian. Everyone hyped up Parag Agrawal when he became Twitter CEO, but he absolutely ruined Twitter and that's why he got removed from his position so quickly lmao India's education system and mentality post British India has become so slave minded, no place for creativity and artistic ability to flourish. and only focused on whatever is needed for survival and money. There's no appreciation for anything genuine, heartfelt anymore, or true creativity and ideas and nourishing them. Because of all the cheap tactics by which India was taken advantage of time and time again by foreign invaders, now we also have adapted those and become very cheap ourselves. Everyone's in competition with each other for society status, and they'll go to any cheap extent to do so. And so much judgement and anger within our society too. Just no place to be sensitive and living in the present anymore and just appreciating the better things in life. Because THAT'S where true creativity comes from. Thankfully we Indians have realised this in the last few years and are trying to heal ourselves, it will take time though. But I see it happening, and with time it will get better.
Competition didn't come from the Europeans, its in every society. Indians are focused on survival rather creativity partly because of lack of natural resources, the solution is simple its to get together with ASEANS and Chinese and force immigration into Australia, Canada, Siberia, 40 million British descendants shouldn't be allowed to monopolize the natural resources and coastline of a continent. Indians can also build canals/ports and live in Arabia/NorthAfrica or artificial islands in Indonesia. Also Indians and other people focus too much on politics and zero-sum games like countering China or the West, we need to create scifi we know what future inventions will sort of be and inspire hundreds of millions into research that will benefit the world and india. Nuclear fusion, nuclear fusion from fission, self-replicating 3D printers, AI tech, brain computer interfaces, remote controlled hand robots, autonomous balancing robots, solar energy collectors, etc... possibilities are endless. Also people should do more talk less like in China...
