Every summer, like the roses, childhood returns. Full of warm memories but gone too soon. In Yakutia, summer lasts only 3 months, so every day Arian and his family are getting the most out of the long-awaited hot summer days. However, the summer in Yakutia is not only for relaxing but it is also the busiest time of the year. Starting from the end of July, Arian and his family are harvesting all kinds of wild berries, fishing in the river and hay making to stock for winter.

Arian, a 9 year old, has more life skills than a lot of adults. Awesome. Keep up the great work
In the other part he is chopping firewood. A 9 year old with an axe would send people around here in a coma while for Arian and the people around him it's the most normal thing 😅
i just hope hes not contacted in the future so he can continue to live a good life
such a well raised child unexposed to the stupidity of media
@@newhall.d1617 ...how funny. That is not life for this boy. People who decided to live there are doing nothing more than gathering wood, chopping wood, fishing ...and what else? That is a good life?
@dianem7677 what should be doing in your opinion?
Watching them camping next to the river, having dinner with their freshly caught river fish, singing along with their family next to the fire, I mean ?!! This is what life is all about isn’t it? I feel like that was a core memory being build in that little kids heart ❤️. We make life so hard on ourselves we forget how simple happiness really is.
I love how unselfish and hard working the people are. They have respect for each other and for their surroundings. Also the importance of family and especially the presence of a father figure in the life of a child.
It is because they do not live in a environment where people competes about who is more rich and can buy more stuffs. They simply live their lives with the necessary and enjoying their daily basis.
@@phralvim bro that doesn't make any sense
@@hamaadqureshi you didn’t get it.
I agree, when people are free they will become less selfish and rotten
Unlike modern societies where everyone only works for themselves and becoming successful is all about screwing over other people
Upbringing is a big deal.
Im not gonna lie. I stumbled across this channel after i got off work, smoked and laid down browsing youtube. I absolutely love stuff like this. Thank you for sharing this with us, & thank you to them for allowing it. So humbled, full of love, & compassion. I wish more people would be like this in the united states. Just seeing these videos to see how they adapted to the harsh weather conditions is astounding. Love the content!

There were many such people in the USA - Hurons, Sioux, Apaches and others.
Answer yourself - where are they?
What do they do, how do they live?

OMG! The dog ran all the way! He deserves a medal and a big feed and hug. 🐾♥️🐕
do you know why they don’t interact with the dogs that much? I kinda feel bad for them.
@@m4kaylaa.
I come from a place where dogs are treated similarly, and let me tell you that they are fine. They’re happy to come along! People usually act more distant to them when other people are around, there’s a culture around it. But in private, they’re usually much more affectionate! It’s usually that dogs need to be able to separate work and play - the dogs probably need to focus on alerting their humans of danger, so the people don’t want to encourage them into play.
God bless you with faith and his Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ almighty!

This family is beautiful. This is what life is suppose to be like.
Thank you for sharing. Aran amazing. I don’t think I’ve seen such a strong, hardworking 9 year. Who understands the importance of love, and taking care of his family.
He’s got a great dad.
It may appear to be a tough, off the grid environ to live in Yakutia, but there lies the warmth of community, the wisdom to survive, and, most importantly, the value of family. The Arian kid is most admirable for doing chores, uncomplaining. Such an enviable family! Kudos to you, Kiun B, for creating a video niche where the world can watch in awe the indomitable spirit of the Yakutia people.

Hi Kiun. Im from the Philippines where people here see snow and winter only in books and tv. I live in a place where coldness is a luxury. The sun is hot and unforgiving most days that we hide from it as much as we can. But even so, I love watching your videos as it shows love of nature and family and the joys of simple life. So with that we share the same bond even if we live on the other side of the world. Keep inspiring others!
its crazy how yakutia goes from -70 to 38 such a short amount of time!
I thought the same, I live in a tropical country and I’ve never experienced 38 degrees, how can it get so hot?
@@aoterou my best guess is the way earth is tilted. Because earth isn’t perfect straight sometime they r lower and sometimes higher in relation to the sun. Because of where yakutia is at when they r higher up they arent facing the sun as directly causing extreme cold. And when they r lower they r in more direct sunlight causing the heat
@@aoterou what country are you from because in Indonesia and PH this is normal.
@@Prince_mt12 I live in Mexico, and of course SOME places in the country get that temperatures even on a daily basis (such as the Yucatan Peninsula) but in Mexico City, 28 degrees is usually the hottest day of the year, I think once in my lifetime we got to 30...
@@aoterou Mexico is a subtropical country not full on tropical country. If you want to experience the tropics go to Southeast Asia wherein you can experience hot and humid climate for 9 straight months (March to November) then cool season (December to February).

Very interesting. I was born and raised in Texas, where I worked on my grandparent’s ranch for about a week in the summer as a young child and all I did was complain. Makes me have a new appreciation for different cultures.

Such a beautiful family. Adrian will grow up nicely and gracefully.
Hello from Singapore, a small country that has only 1 season summer in a year. I am 55 years old & planning to take a break from work to travel a bit & would love to put Yakutia in my bucket list of countries to travel. Can't wait to visit your beautiful country. Arian is such a good boy. Many young children in my country are very spoilt with domestic helpers doing everything for them. Many don't even wash their own cups. So proud of Arian's parents for bringing up good & hardworking children.
Yakutia its an region in Russia, not no country.
Wishing you safe travels full of wonder n amazement.
Travel far, travel wide. 😊
it is in russia a huge place bigger than most big countries
It’s in Russia, you don’t want to get arrested and sent to the gulag. Go to Thailand instead.

Yakutia looks soo much like Finland even though its so far away. Love from Finland ❤️🇫🇮
True I always watch from utube, they look so much alike.. Much love from Botswana
And Yakuts share same DNA haplogroup with Finns is so surprising
Both looks like asian, only difference is finns are blonds and blue-eyed
Hello, I dream of visiting Finland after the war. From Russia with love.
It's my birthland. I was born in Yakutia. In Verkhoyansk. On the banks of the river Yana, which is why my parents called me Yana. The day I was born, 24th of December, was one of the coldest days of the year, -50°C / -57°F.
Thank you so very much for reminding me of the land where I was unconditionally happy ❤
What was life like in Yakutia for you? As a woman do you learn how to split wood and hunt also?
@hyejinmoon4882 I lived there as a child. We moved to another region when I was nearing 8 y.o. Didn't get to chopping the wood. But I have clear memories of my dad teaming up with other men to go to the frozen river to pick ice. We didn't have central water, plumbing neither heat systems. A big metal barrel of ice was always thawing inside the house. We used it for drinking, cleaning and washing. The house was heated by the wood burning stove. My dad used to hunt. My mom used to work at the meteorological station, forecasting weather.

Such a nice family. The parents have done so well in raising their children.
Hearing that young talking about how he loved clearing the hay and how much he knows how to do at his age is wonderful and something you haven't seen in the States for 2-3 generations back , some 16 year olds in this country not capable of doing what he can !
☺️
Same in the UK. Very few children here would say what Aryjun said about loving to gather the hay because it helps his family and their animals. What a beautiful sentiment and attitude ☺️
Sure he's got passion, but is still a skill-less 9 year old kid. I wouldn't say he can do anything more than the average 9 year old.
@@briandevore3605 This video is proof he can.

Yakutia has an extreme continental climate where January averages -40 degrees Fahrenheit and has reached 100 degrees in the summer. Their winter extremes are colder than -80 degrees. In May the great thaw begins. June, July & August are the warm months there and it is amazing how the coldest region in the Northern Hemisphere becomes so warm and full of life.

I love watching these videos and learning about other cultures! Arian is a well-rounded boy who will grow to be an amazing Man! Many blessings from Tennessee USA
Hi Kiun B. Love your videos. I've watched about 6 so far. This family in Yakut seems to have similar belief systems and physical features (face especially) as Indigenous peoples here in Canada. Some anthropologists here belief people from Yakut or Siberia migrated across the Bering Strait to North American thousands of years ago. Indigenous peoples here in Canada also have deep respect for the animals they kill. They pray to the spirits of the animals they kill. They have an abiding love of the land; it is everything to them. We can learn a lot from them. I have a deep respect for their culture and ways. I love learning about your people and way of life and I can relate about missing the country when I'm in the city. It's a simpler life and better in many ways.
hi Stefan! yeah, you are right, it's looks like the same tribes thousands years ago has traveled from Siberia to Canada, and if you will digg little bit more - you will find simmilarity of words and traditions.
