Humbling for sure, but why would anyone want to live out there… I guess she doesn’t have a choice… We don’t always have that choice. I’ve always work two full-time jobs and a part-time. I know what hard work is but that wasn’t by choice it was what I had to do must be the same for her.

What an amazing person, she's so resourceful, efficient despite the hardship of living in this climate and in a remote area, and alone it would appear. What I loved about this video is that the only sounds you heard were related to her working, no dialogue . This film makes you appreciate the modern conveniences but also realize the beauty in living a simpler life, even if more challenging in many ways.

She has a calming effect on me. I also just quietly go about what needs to be done myself, and people say they enjoy being around me because I don’t expect to fill the air with a lot of talking. I enjoy the sounds of every day chores. It means there is life and love in this place. Whenever you share her videos, I just sit back and enjoy them. Sometimes I have no idea what ingredients she’s using, or herbs or spices….but I don’t care, I watch and listen anyway. I love when she sings while she works, I find myself hoping she will with every new video…even though I don’t know the words, its still nice to listen to her sing.
She epitomizes all of the attributes that would make a really good wife, who would gladly and easily keep the home-fires burning. Peace, love, happiness, and giving grace to God for all of the daily blessings of her wholesome bounty!
Now that I'm mother of two "city children" I can see how fortunate I was having a childhood in the south of Chile, sharing that lifestyle with my grandparents in a farm. Now they're gone, those memories are a treasure in my heart and sometimes even a sweet scape from reality

Maria reminds me of my own grandmother. I was born in Norway and we lived a quiet lifestyle cooking on wood burning stoves in the 1950’s and 1960’s. My grandma had a whole in the heart. I cannot imagine the pain I admire Maria, her strength, determination, faith and many skills! So lovely to see her hugging her dog! ❤

It's all a facade. The house is modern inside. Modern kitchen, bath, electricity, running water, satellite etc. The house is actually listed as a vacation rental. There was a link for that on one of their previous videos showing the inside of house. She is not by herself. There is a camera crew. She may or may not actually live there. These videos are meant to advertise the area, the culture and produce income from CZcams.

The Ukrainian people in these videos are proudly sharing some of their traditional culture at a time when outside forces are trying to destroy it and them. If they choose to dress up in head to toe traditional attire and cook on an open fire in their yard, all while having modern clothes and appliances we don't see in the videos, it doesn't mean they're being disingenuous.

This lady is amazing! And fast at her work both preparing the food and foraging for her vegetables! Maybe CZcams or the producers of these videos could buy her a new little electric oven! I’m sure she would be appreciative.
I've seen this woman before and she cooks various traditional meals. She is wonderful especially when looking for mushrooms and berries. She's well organized and canned a lot of vegetables for her disposal when making dishes so she won't have to do delayed in making those wonderful meals. As for pizza, this must be new to me - because she cooks many meals from scratch but never seen her cook pizza. Simple life may look that way but it can be challenging especially in this cold wintering weather.

I also just quietly go about what needs to be done myself, and people say they enjoy being around me because I don’t expect to fill the air with a lot of talking. I enjoy the sounds of every day chores. It means there is life and love in this place.
Whenever you share her videos, I just sit back and enjoy them. Sometimes I have no idea what ingredients she’s using, or herbs or spices….but I don’t care, I watch and listen anyway.
I love when she sings while she works, I find myself hoping she will with every new video…even though I don’t know the words, its still nice to listen to her sing.
She epitomizes all of the attributes that would make a really good wife, who would gladly and easily keep the home-fires burning. Peace, love, happiness, and giving grace to God for all of the daily blessings of her wholesome bounty!

Maria reminds me of my own grandmother. I was born in Norway and we lived a quiet lifestyle cooking on wood burning stoves in the 1950’s and 1960’s. My grandma had a whole in the heart. I cannot imagine the pain

It's all a facade. The house is modern inside. Modern kitchen, bath, electricity, running water, satellite etc. The house is actually listed as a vacation rental. There was a link for that on one of their previous videos showing the inside of house. She is not by herself. There is a camera crew. She may or may not actually live there. These videos are meant to advertise the area, the culture and produce income from CZcams.

The Ukrainian people in these videos are proudly sharing some of their traditional culture at a time when outside forces are trying to destroy it and them. If they choose to dress up in head to toe traditional attire and cook on an open fire in their yard, all while having modern clothes and appliances we don't see in the videos, it doesn't mean they're being disingenuous.

I've seen this woman before and she cooks various traditional meals. She is wonderful especially when looking for mushrooms and berries. She's well organized and canned a lot of vegetables for her disposal when making dishes so she won't have to do delayed in making those wonderful meals. As for pizza, this must be new to me - because she cooks many meals from scratch but never seen her cook pizza. Simple life may look that way but it can be challenging especially in this cold wintering weather.
