- In celebration of National Streaming Day, Disney+ has released a new trailer and key art for Walt Disney Animation Studios’ “Baymax!” Streaming exclusively on Disney+ on June 29, the all-new series of healthcare capers returns to the fantastical city of San Fransokyo where the affable, inflatable, inimitable healthcare companion robot, Baymax, sets out to do what he was programmed to do: help others. “I thought it would be fun to do a Disney+ series with Baymax interacting with normal folks,” said series creator Don Hall, who helmed 2014’s Oscar®-winning film “Big Hero 6.” “In each of our six episodes, Baymax just wants to help someone-and a lot of times they don’t want to be helped. He sets out to fix a physical issue that he's identified, and in the process, gets to a deeper, more emotional place and can be almost transformative in that role.”
“Baymax!” is produced by Roy Conli and Bradford Simonsen. The series’ episodes are directed by Dean Wellins (Eps 1, 2, 6), Lissa Treiman (Ep 3), Dan Abraham (Ep 4) and Mark Kennedy (Ep 5). Screenwriter is Cirocco Dunlap. Scott Adsit returns as the voice of Baymax. Voice talent featured in episodes include Ryan Potter, Maya Rudolph, Emily Kuroda, Lilimar, Zeno Robinson and Jaboukie Young-White.

Reminds me of the UK show HUMⱯNS, where there are synths, essentially the most human looking robots that do what you want them to. And the main family it focuses on gets a synth that is incredibly eerie in its demeanour.
It ended up getting 3 series so I'd say check it out if you're age appropriate.

I cried when I first watched it. Even today watching it for the millionth time I still cried. Hero’s brother never had to die and the pure rage Hero felt. I felt so sad seeing it all. That movie is one of the only ones that made me cry. But oh my god. I will always cry about this film…

There is no villain, everyone has their own reasons. This movie depicts how human nature contradicts morals and virtues. I love it so much. It's very emotional, more then Inside out I suppose.
This is a miniseries not a movie and plus there was a villain in the movie, he committed arson, accidentally got someone killed, then tried to hurt teenagers, then attempted murder on Alistair Krei, then destroyed property. All of that makes a villain because nobody has a moral and legal right to do those things no matter what reason. You're right everyone has their reasons but not every reason is valid some are just extremely trivial and petty and some reasons are just excuses to not respect the law which in turn is a villain by default.

We will. There's Tiana, Zootopia+, Moana, and an original show called Iwájú. The rewason they will have a higher quality is because these are being made bybthe studio behind the movies, while shows like the previous BH6 show, Amphibia, and Gravity Falls were made by a different Disney studio, whose animation was outsourced due to not even being a division of the main animation studio.

This'll be interesting! I've always wondered, considering Tadashi's original purpose for Baymax was as a medical assistant, what Baymax would actually be like in that kind of environment! I'm quite excited by this series, plus I can't stress ENOUGH how THANKFUL I am that they kept the animation style the same!!

Big Hero 6 is what got me into art and animation and honestly is such a big part of my life, I was such a hardcore fan, I had every merch, every memorabilia, every little bit of news about these characters. I was in a really rough patch when this movie came out, and sure, I may have been a bit too old for the target audience but it was influential. Seeing this show in the original 3d animated form just makes me so happy, and I just cannot wait to see it because honestly, I never thought there was gonna be anything more.

The way baymax said "Do not worry about the Cafe Cass. Everything will be fine" not only sounded sassy af, but was weirdly terrifying with the way he was walking down the stairs and looking back at her.
Baymax is still the best thing about big hero 6 so I’m happy to get more of him.
I like the premise of this better than the first TV series, cause it restores Baymax to his original purpose, instead of becoming a glorified personal therapy robot to Hiro.

The first two and a half seasons of Big Hero 6: The Series were really good. The end of season three, however….
Baymax remains one of my all time favorite characters. So many think he is this emotional and very connectable character, but he is just doing what he was exactly programmed to do and how everyone around him thinks otherwise. That and the speaking patterns always makes me smile.
I know everyone has brought up “everything will be fine,” but I just love the “Oh no. No. No. No.” line since it is just the usual “no” word on repeat.
