    The bubbles are bigger for several minutes right after the bubbles just got out of the diffuser due of the pressure that had built up. Once it normalizes the bubbles are a lot smaller.

    Your neo diffuser looks nice, but alot of co2 gas is wasted, better you try adding a small powerhead to push the co2 all over your water column...

    Fam you need to put a pump or the outake of the filter on the opposite side of the diffuser so it can evenly go around the tank your co2 is releasing out so it’s not going to benefit, watch some yt videos for help.

      Ended up doing that for a while but with my filter I guess the bubbles didn’t break as nicely and it was just too noisy for me to keep it that way :/

      @@ThatShrimpDude Proper placement is placing the diffuser on the opposite side of the filter outflow so the water from the filter outflow crashes into the bubbles and spreads them in throughout tank...

    Just bought one and gas leakes where the acrylic tube meets the tubing. How do I fix this?

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před rokem

      Two ways I would fix that, heat up the tubing with hot water to push it further down, if that doesn’t work I would resort to super glue (but once you do that It would be very hard to remove it after)

    I have a lowtech planted tank, with a corner(box) filter which produces bubbles like an airstone. Can I put the diffuser next to it or should I put it on the opposite side of the tank?

    how to turn off the neo co2 ?

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před 3 lety

      You have to adjust the flow on the actual canister, to turn off the co2 get a co2 regulator (and possibly a timer). Neo Co2 is just the diffuser part of the system

    Dude, your old ones were green, holes were clogged with microscopic algae spores, that is why a brand new one works better.

      Get a check valve or put your co2 tank on the same level as the aquarium, probably siphons the water back out because of the pressure difference

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před 2 lety

      Yeah I’m that becomes a problem but with a check valve it’s no longer an issue

    I see yours gets filled with inside with water? Is it how it supposed to be? Mine is not working at all. It is actually leaking co2 at the connection with the tubing. I thought that the wAter inside was somehow blocking it from going through. Right now I don’t know. I just gave up and ordered another one.

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před 2 lety

      Try pushing it further down in the tube. If it’s still leaking co2 contact the company for a refund or more info they are great

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před 3 lety +1

      i would definitely go for something like a Carbon Doser EXT 5000 instead, for such a big tank that im guessing will be heavily planted i think you will get the most bang for your buck

    • @ThatShrimpDude
      @ThatShrimpDude  Před 3 lety +1
