I can’t believe people go to places like Pattaya when they could go to Lao. My favourite Asia country. Its great motorcycle riding in Lao. Ive ridden Cambodia and up threw Thailand, golden triangle and Lao then back down threw bottom of Lao into Cambodia several times. And the worlds best beer and friendliest people.
Pattaya offers different attractions, eg, beachside, bars, and entertainment. It also has superior infrastructure.
Todd You are a celebrity. People are recognizing you more and more. And Todd , You are so gracious to allow yourself to be so approachable. Vientiane knows how to put on a party. Looks like

how funny is that Todd, they use teens to check your bags but with the farang they were as confused as you you didn't know what they wanted you to do anymore then they knowing how to tell you. the looks on those kids faces especially the girls was priceless

Todd, Tully's closed due to on-going complaints of disturbance from the local community and cooresponding pressure from the authorities on the grounds the bar was considered an inappropriate attraction for the area (as I heard directly from the owner). The new location seems to be doing as well as the old one was.

You met a lot more people at the Vientiane Boat Racing Festival than at the Luang Prabang Boat Racing Festival so Vientiane has that going for it. Luang Prabang was much nicer though. It'd be nice to see what those bikers do to help others. Very nice rides they all have. The pics at the end.😎👍🙏

Another awesome video...I love festivals in SEA, especially the boat races which occur at about the same time...the boat races in my edge of the Mekong, namely Cambodia, are also raucous affairs and a perfect reason to party but we haven't had one in the capital Phnom Penh for 3 years but they are allowed in the provinces and districts. I don't think the boats in Cambodia are as long with 50+ rowers as in Laos...I could be wrong...doesn't matter...good fun had by all

Hey Todd, there sure is a lot to un pack in this vid. The LBP races were better, as you said the geography lends itself to better viewing but the home team fans in Vientaine were more raucous. The bikers know how to break a fast after Buddhist lent, sip a few (dozen) beers and jump on their bikes. A friendly group of guys. Looked like a fun outing. Cheers

Yes, a former workohaulick with a plot on the Mekong just north of Pakse on the bank of the Mekong. It's 3000sq ft and have enough room for more places ie, houses.

About 4.30 minutes in the video after he was talking to a older man there was a young pretty girl standing in the background with a very fat P just sticking out.
