FYI, autocrafters work with vertical range too so you can put the crafters in a room above the storage room.

Yes, the butterfly domes arrive much earlier in the game than the farms, so it is important. Late game it essentially becomes an optional decoration where you can display your favorite butterflies.
Many of the incubator recipes can spit out variations on butterflies, fish and frogs (and all have a gold version), so it can be fun to try the same recipe several times or mix up the fertilizer or mutagen T levels to see if that pops out something new. There is an area you can farm butterflies following the lore/story arc that can get you lots of blue and gold butterflies (or as a way to recycle them to get tons of fertilizer and mutagens).
Here are a bunch of tips. 1.) Never focus on one item because as you can see kage was supposed to have done fish a long long long time ago that's why it's weak compared to frogs. 2.) Production multipliers are extremely important that stack with diminishing returns the most efficient is about 18 fuse structures which holds roughly 54 fuses. 3.) The most efficient way to make money without struggling is pulsar quarts this requires only one crafting step. 4.) Setting up roughly 30 T3 drills for each item to craft pulsar quarts that means 150 drills then set up about 10 trade rockets this will net you roughly 6k credits every 10 minutes. 5.) If you use production multipliers on the drills and get them down to about 5 seconds then you will need less drills but having that many will still benefit a lot. 6.) The multipliers will affect up to 8 machines each
Wow you have so many power producing structures.
Quickly unpin by unequipping your pinning module. Then just re-equip it.
Trade rockets are very slow to make terra tokens. Raiding procedural wrecks is a quick way to get tokens if you are trying to buy production multiplier fuses.
This is definitely a survival game. Maybe not as challenging as others but still qualifies.
Or you might just find production multiplier fuses directly in the procedural wrecks!
Btw if you set up lots of bee hives and bean farms and a few autocrafters, you can boost your insects AND make lots if money selling the food.
You can build a teleporter at the top of the rocket launcher to make launching rockets quicker and easier.
For the butterfly larvae....Go to the last area where you get the golden larvae and build lots of metal floors as high as you can. After that wait around and the game will spawn almost the varieties of butterfly larvae...even the golden.
Kage if memory serves me right auto crafters do NOT have a vertical l distance limit
@Kage848 the butterfly dome you can place two butterfly larvae, looks beautiful with two different ones, but placing the highest % is ofc the best. I have mine with cyan and pink, lovely combo.
And why dont you place the watercollector in the water, it's faster, collects way more and take way less power than having the big ones, you will save yourself some power for something else instead 😊

Not that it matters to you, since you'll have T3 Ore Extractors for both, but Osmium meteors also drop Sulphur.

Kage you need to go look for the hidden areas out in the world.
They need to switch the larvae around, because uncommon larvae is actually a lot more common than common larvae
