Hiiii I have a question!! You mentioned something about “work around” when it comes to clear acrylic or glass. What does that mean!? I’m waiting on my machine to arrive !!

The easiest work around is to paint the clear acrylic or glass with a tempura paint in a dark color like black, gray, purple. Then engrave it and wash the paint off. Diode lasers can't "see" clear material so the paint allows the laser to know where to engrave on the surface. There are a couple of other methods too. Here's a good video from Steve Makes Everything that is an overview of the methods: czcams.com/video/PHcIfzcVLxo/video.html I hope that helps. Have fun with your new laser!!!
