"Please no laughing" and the audience laughed harder! Hahaha 😂😂
Here’s someone who got the whole point of his joke.
“Please no laughter”
*laughter intensifies*
This guy is ALWAYS in character
Will's actually a fine dramatic actor as well. And I think that's necessary in order to be a great comedian, which he clearly is.
teppolundgren
intent incarnate
What?
Mugattu in disguise
@@luigi_border Excuse me?
Tell it to the folks at home..
I just realized. I had never seen Will Ferrell normal, except for the first few seconds of this clip when he was accepting the applause from the audience. Every other picture or video of him is something crazy.
As soon as I saw that scarf I knew he'd be playing a pretentious character 😂😂
It’s not a character, he finally showed his true self
"theatrical wines" so much for a visual 😂😂
This is getting close to Andy Kaufman and I'm here for it!
Will Ferrell the Hero who always makes me laugh & happy!
HAHAHAHAHAHA that self slow-mo at the end!!!!!!!!!
We're so blessed to have Will in our lifetime! Hahaha He's soooo witty & funny that we seldom talk about how handsome he also is hehe
...okay...
What a genius!
Art Garfunkel has spent too much time at KFC...
4:06 - "Now I'm spending my life trying so damn hard not to hurt my boy like you hurt me." - fuck me I know Will meant it as comedy, but that line struck wayyyy too close to home.
You know a monologue is good when the guest host doesn't need side SNL characters.
Tell that to Deion Sanders and Russell Crowe
Will Ferrell needs to do a Jeremy Clarkson skit
A great comedian can easily be a great dramatic actor. See Jim Carrey for example.
Jim Carey lost his mind though.
@♡ Mae Mae toca ☆ Jim Carrey's fine, he just did a lot of psychedelics or got really into transcendental meditation or something.
People on the internet always say it's because he lost it when his ex died or something, and he definitely may have turned to those things as a way to deal with grief, but it's not like anything he's saying in interviews is delusional the way Kanye West has been for example.
There's a lot of truth in what he says about death of the ego and how we're all more connected than we think, and in a way we're all just playing the role of a person that was given to us by our environment.
People just dismiss most of it as "crazy" because he's wealthy and an actor so they don't think he has anything worthwhile to say, or isn't a human with problems just like everyone else and he wants to get the message out that he found a great way to deal with them.
2:41 bet he says that a lot when he's on stage for anything other than comedy.
Will Ferrell would make a great Dr Who.
If they make a Ghostbusters reboot or sequel, he has to be one of them!
MrJustdve Man...if past 'you' only knew what was about to happen in the future ...
Benedict cumberbatch should do the EXACT same monologue
He did very nearly get the way we say "da" right, he just needs to extend the "aaah" at the end
Natasha Trimble depends what county
Damn man, Will kicks so much ass
Serious acting indeed 😂😂, it breaks people
When he said "the jester" his W.Bush Impression came out
Greatest monologue ever.
nope
1:30 His mimick reminds me of that scene in Westworld when Anthony Hopkins Says:- The money men, delos.
The best i've seen so far.
Laughed and cried at the same damn time
It's your son who?! haha
please no laughter
The fkn scarf 🤣. He should have went with a giant Lenny Kravitz scarf. 🤣
Nobody nails insane humor quite like Will
what's the drummer of the red hot chili peppers doing here
😂👏
HumbyJ I was wondering the same thing about the cowbell player of blue oyster cult
CLASSIC=WILL FERELL...A LEGEND
ok, now Im sure that Will Ferell, Chad Smith AND Tom Waits are the same person!!
wow, that actually made me sad haha..
this changed me
it's soo good i watched it twice !
Will did this monologue in the same exact spot where he audition for SNL in the 1990s. The scarf he is wearing is from his company Dancing With Wools. Will donates 15 of the scarf proceeds to aspiring adult film actresses. Last summer Will attacked some tourists in the lobby of 30 Rock because they didn't recognize his scarf logo. Sincerely, George Santos.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS DUDE
Legendary funnyman !
nope. no he's not.. not funny
kingStormy Sky Yes. He is...and always has been.
umm. no. he's a fool
I can’t tell if him calling line was intentional or not lol
I miss him and chris kattan som much, it's not the same without them
I love Will Ferrell!
Now way!! We want the subtitles options! PLZ!
Will is so funny!
Brilliant xD
I thought it was Dane Cook in the thumbnail
I’m shock that Will Ferrell is an incredible actor as long as I can endure this comedian entourage like Bernie Mac, Ryan Reynolds and Dennis Quaid all over again.
I think the guitarist with the turquoise guitar is the producer or Redbone by Childish Gambino
am i crazy or his face reminds me of shawn michaels
Skullo mania YES it does look like HBK
+Skullo mania crossed eyed hbk
Haha
OMG YES
hbk after decades of wrestling
I cried. Great acting!
Lol
Joshua De Leon : You cried ?...This was meant to be a satire...but you didn't get it..OMG...MAGA !
🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone else think Will looks like a Bond villain?
Help me out! So the audience didn't get that his drying on stage was intentional...right? coz it was fake...right?
All i see in this was Mugatu lol
Go, LAFC!!
Pretty sure he went stage right
Alex trebk!!!
What hahaha amazing ferrel is the best comedian actor of this decade no one can copy...him and borrat huh anyone who cannot laugh with him doesnt have a sense of humour :D
Will is a good storyteller
He sounds like randy marshall
help help help I needed someone and yes I fell to my knees and said Jesus help me please and he did and thank you very much but no I dont do that and well some of us like funny but whoa give me that! My dad he worked all the time. I remember him pushing me on the swing. Yes I miss him no he was polish and my mom Italian- your dad can drop dead like right said fred. But now we are good, but sometimes yeah my husband can be a jerk. But no no no I stay as he is cool and yes I see the pain mama and she aint dead. But my dad was and never said bad so bad- just kidding I forgave him. So this daughter of 61 good too.
Is that you Chad?
Stop referencing Jordan Peterson, damn!
I think I would go and see that if it was a play haha
I must say that Chris Kattan is much funnier then Will.I will never understand why this guy got so famous so fast.Kattans movies and sketches are much funnier but Ferrell is just annoying and trying to hard.We get it.You are funny Will.
Down stage right actually Will! Left and Right are taken facing the stage from the realm of the audience of course :)
... no they're not? It's always the performers perspective. Prompt is left, Op-prompt is right.
oh yeah you are right. My bad.
Went to see 'Holmes & Watson' a couple of years ago and surprise surprise - there was "no laughter."
Watch his other movies then, I can recommend you some of them
This monologue is weak.I will never understand how he became such a famous comedy actor. Ive seen a lot movies with him and they are ok at the most. Maybe Im not supposed to understand it. I think his best performance ever is in the Beastie Boys video hehe.
+Jakub Ltk Here's the explanation:
A lot of people like Will Ferrell and his style of comedy. If demand is high, there's room for a higher supply.
I don't mind; I like WF, but a lot of my friends don't and that's okay, too.
I just think, being Will Ferrell's father, you shouldn't bad mouth him online so much...
Not funny man.
Most overated comedian ever.
"theatrical wines" so much for a visual 😂😂
