    However the soap dispenser compartment can also catch mold so should be cleaned out regularly. 👍

    You're right, Yessica. Millennial & Gen X mommies need to unplug their washing machines before they fix 'em because there's a possibility of getting electrocuted. I turn off the switch before changing the light bulbs.

    @marcoross8936 Před 3 lety

    Very good! I always follow you, you are very good .. If I can give you some advice avoid very quick washes and liquid detergent, it is what forms mold .. and often do a cleaning wash with bleach and then citric acid, you will see what results! Greetings from Italy!!☺️

    I enjoyed watching this video of yours. It's shown some tips that you should've known how to fix your washing machine like the other mommies should've known how to fix their machines. Safety always comes first when it comes to electrocution. Mommies should always unplug their machines before fixing 'em.

    • @AlejandraBrooks
      @AlejandraBrooks  Před 3 lety

      Right? I had no ideas either but hopefully you can keep yours clean now :)

  • @dionnefrancis-brown1533

    You could have avoided all that unnecessary cost, if you just clean your machine on a monthly basis. You can use vinegar or soda crystals (if they sell soda crystals in the USA). You can pour some of the soda crystals in the detergent draw, pour some in the drum and pour a little in the rubber sealant of the washing machine and that should solve the problem). If you were to clean your machine on a monthly basis, your machine will last longer and it will save you on repair bills. It must have cost you a lot of money to get a replacement rubber ring for your model of washing machine. Since you do a lot of laundry, clean your machine regularly, and when you finish the laundry don’t shut the door to the washing machine leave it open so that it can air out, if not mould will build up, and that’s where you get the smells. When you have 7 or 8 roles it’s good to give your washing machine a break in between loads (allow it to cool down) as constant use leads to wear and tear and that’s how washing machines can breakdown, repairs to washing machines or a brand new washing machine can be costly.

    Cleaning the washer once a week and leaving it open is supposed to prevent it but i definitely want a top loader regardless.. I hate front loaders and i hate HE machines

    • @AlejandraBrooks
      @AlejandraBrooks  Před 3 lety

      Yes I hope I can keep it clean now! Lol yes front loaders are a lot of work

  • @abdelkaderelbachir3817

    All of this could have been prevented by just wiping the rubber seal after each wash and leaving the door and the soap drawer slightly open for ventilation but I guess ain't nobody got time for that so who am I to judge

  • @treyjoyner7768
    @treyjoyner7768 Před 3 lety
