LOL. I still have my Webelos "ribbons" and pins around here somewhere, but my metal woggle is long lost. The pack will certainly be "put back into service" if I keep it.
Either that bag was only used a couple of times or it belonged to a spectacularly fastidious scout.
Nice find.👍 I remember those from the late fifties or early sixties. The ones I saw in current use were more beat up than that.
It might even be worth some money, but it’s a nice pack worth using.
That is about the time frame I would date it. Probably bought for a "big scout weekend" and never used again. I simply cannot get over the fact that it has zero musty smell. It must have been stored in a very climate controlled area.

I have an old style back pack like that, but it's nylon and not canvas.
As far as where the BSA is heading now, I'm not a fan 😕
Didn't even know they made nylon ones. I avoid politics at all costs.
@@HNXMedia I don't think it is an "official" BSA branded back pack, but has the same rack, back brace and straps.
