Charlene Wong - 1990 Canadian Championships Long Program

In her final National championship in senior ladies (10th consecutive), Charlene Wong resurrects her "Spartucus" long program from 1988, albeit very modified from the original version. She placed 3rd in the Long Program segment but would end up 2nd overall for the 3rd year in a row (but only Lisa Sargeant went to the World Championships that year).

I didn't even know she competed as an amateur in the 1989-1990 season! Thanks for posting this.
I am so happy for Charlene that she has been hugely succesful in the professional ranks--and as a coach.

I always wondered who finished behind Lisa but ahead of Josee. Now I know. Yet I thought she retired after the '89 season. But she hung around until '90. That and she was still quite young at the time.
