Evelyn Grossmann moves up to 7th place overall in her debut at the 1989 World Figure Skating Championships after this long program placed 5th in the segment.

録画を消してしまってからずっと心残りだったグロスマン。
ずっと見たかったので見つけて感激！
東西ドイツ統一でリンクの閉鎖などで競技への熱意をなくしたと聞いていたのだけど、出来たらずっと続けて欲しかった。ここで彼女の演技を見ることができてとてもhappy！！

グロスマンめちゃめちゃ上手だったんですね😳　これ彼女現役中ずっと東ドイツ体制のままだったらメダリストになってたかも... ご家族の雇用も無くなって練習もままならない状況に陥ったそうですね。
ミュラー先生やはり選手育成が上手い

She was on and was really undermarked and probably because she was unknown and was not in a position to factor in the medals they didn't want her messing with the placements...and if she'd been marked accordingly she could have changed the placement of some on the podium...but honestly she was way better than Leisterner's long.

この時は、顔が売れてないので点数が今ひとつだったが、同じく若い🇺🇸クリスティ・ヤマグチ（🎵パリのよろこび）よりも彼女の方が可愛く好印象だった。もっと驚いたのは、アネット・ペッチが１９７６五輪で使った🎵音源をそのまま、中間部を除いて使っていた事だ。当時中継を観て、びっくりした記憶がある。

great program for her... too bad we didn't see more of her through the 90's.

Way undermarked. Should have been 2nd place in the long program. This was much better then Trenary, Leistner, or Yamaguchi were able to do that night.

I would have said 3rd in the LP. Kristi did two lutzes didn't she?

unfortunate that as she she developed she couldnt get back to this level. I really think it had to do with the odd Frau Muller technique on the jumps!
