1. Make sure the flow is going the right way through the down stream injector
2. Make sure the hose is not pinched or have a hole in it
3. Make any fittings are not loose or cracked
4. Make sure the pressure washing gun is opening up all the way

Thanks man, you helped me figure mine out, much appreciated!
Great content as always. Thank you sir.
Thanks for watching
Thanks for the info! I just purchased one and won't work.. I think is the gun like you said! Tell me more about that!
Appreciate the info man 👍
thanks for watching
I have an injector.....does it have to be after the wand? Mine is between the pw output and the wand. It works for a minute then not again. So does it have to be after the gun?
Another Great video Jason. I made the mistake of leaving my downstream injector on my machine and then putting a dual port injector into the downstream injector. The dual port worked 3/4 of the job but at the end I couldn’t get much pressure to surface clean or coming out of the gun. Is it because I had both the downstream injector and dual port? I took off the dual port injector and still can’t get much pressure. Help?
It was my o ring that came out of the downstream injector. First time I’ve ever had one come out. 😉
Received a new pressure washer pump after the old one. After installing it, I checked for leaks and it blew off the chemical injector brass fitting. Have you ever ran into this issue? If not any suggestions? Can I just weld up the hole and have it bypassed? Thank you.
I’ve had to hose blew off the chemical injector. Usually this is because the ball get eight up and gone
Why does water back feed back into bucket when down streaming
The thing that always gets me is I always have quick connects but for some reason never rmember to install the quick conects on the new chemical injector ahead of time.
Quick connects playing hide and seek with you! Don't worry, you'll catch them next time!
Running a 4x4 and just noticed that when I'm using my DS with a line in a bucket... and I let off the trigger, that it backflows into my bucket diluting what ever mixture I have in there. What's going on?
Bad ball. Bad injection
Today my downstream tube kept popping off and water was shooting out of the port that sucks chems... what the hell
I love you man thank you save my ass on a job
Hi, I just added a new DS injector to my pressure washer 21lpm ws202 13hp Honda gx390 , I can't seem to draw chemical, I have 90ft of 3/8 hose I have tried a low pressure nozzle (not black tip)and I have tried shooter tip with no luck
I have increased and reduced the revs on the engine, I have about 2ft of 8mm hose going to my chemical drum, I think I have tried everything in your videos but no luck, would you have any other idea what could be wrong, thanks Paul.
Try taking your gun off and see if it will draw them. Sometimes I’m going to go bad and they won’t open up all the way
Did you ever get around to trying it without the gun? I have the same machine and have done the exact same thing as you.
I was going nuts trying to get one to work today. It kinda worked, with no gun or tips on it randomly, then I could get it to pull soap again. I tried low pressure tips, checked the hose for leaks and the injector is brand new so shouldn't be a clogged spring or ball issue. Very frustrating. Even rented a $1K per day lift to help with the project and that is sitting there right now wasting away because I can't get my chemical injector to work. I even tried a backup plan with a new pump. I filled a tank with soap and SH and was going to just spray it on with a hose but the new pump unexplainably stopped working. The unpredictability of the chemical injectors is a big downside IMO. But, I guess with more experience they wouldn't be as unpredictable.
can be a pain sometimes but when they work their great
Do you not use a remote control system anymore to control your downstream injector?
I do not use the remote anymore. To many headaches with it
What is your go to place to buy down stream injectors. No one in my area sells them, some places don't even know what they are.
There is a company in my neighborhood that can ship it to you, you can contact them at acrproductsinc.com
I buy alot off of amazon or a close pressure washing store

My friend, my injector worked all season long with 50ft of hose. My last two jobs, it only works with 25ft. Will not draw with anything more than one hose. Brand new injector does the same thing. 25ft, fine. More, no draw. Is it my pump?
Make sure your downstream hose is not sucking shut or getting kink somewhere
@@kingofpressurewash I think that is my problem too, I do have a 75feet hose.. I disconnected the hose and just let the water run and it will suck bleach.. but nothing with the hose and gun.. help please
@@merlinjeronimo3886 did you ever fix this problem? I have the same issue. Will only suck with 50ft of hose
I have a question tryna use my chem injector with my xjet m5 and when I use my xjet it won't take soap why's that
Because the xjet it's causing too much pressure
@@kingofpressurewash anyway to make it work with xjet thanks
Ok my injector is sucking.. But i feel something is wrong.. i done a draw test..you know to see how long it took to empty 1 gallon of chem.. so i got 24 gallons to 1... Giving me a ratio of .5 at the tip... I don't have belt drive pw.. i have a 4gpm 4200psi but my injector is built in.. Is that normal for the injector ratio so low.. ???? How can i get a higher ratio at the tip.. Thanks in advance
some of the built in ones dont draw as good
Jason, please help. I've now bought 2 downstream injectors and can't figure out why neither have pulled any soap? It is not getting suction and I can't figure out why. And before you ask, yes I used the soap tip. My washer has a soap reservoir but I've bypasses it all. I even put a shutoff valve on the intake side to the pump because I thought that maybe it was the problem.
have you tried with no gun on it? also how much hose you got on it
So I removed my gun and bam, it began to pull the water from the bucket. I have a surface max gun that I'd bought from Lowes for like %$50. It works great and it had a handle that I can put on either side which gives better control. Now my washer. I know it's a p.o.s. but I bought it at a great deal and it makes me money and when I can do better, I will upgrade. It is a Ryobi 3,000 PSI, 2.3 gpm. I only paid $200 for it brand new and not from the store. I don't particularly like the gun that came with it but I slapped a fitting on the intake and out and guess what? I had soap.
I appreciate your videos man. They are very informative and I hope that someday soon I'll be able to afford to take your course. And maybe you'll be back in Raleigh lol. Thanks again!
@@michaelgall6876 awesome
I will try these tips. I have 2 injectors and not able to get soap using my j-rod only with the black soap tip. But I did notice on my first injector for my first machine it's labeled 2.1 and it's on a 2.5 GPM could be an issue there. My new machine is 4 GPM and it came with an injector, still no soap with j-rod. No number on it that I can tell. My injector hose is like 5 feet or less so it's not to much. I've tried with the arrow pointing in either direction still not working on j-rod using all the tips. Finally I put the injector pointing away from the pump. I hope one of these tips gives a resolve it's the only thing that's been a issue since getting into the business. Thx
Why would water shoot from the top of the chemical injector
So here is my issue .. If I add hose I lose suction and cant draw any chemical. I only draw chemical on 50 ft. If I add another 50, it actually pumps into the chemical bucket instead of drawing. Any solution?
this is happening to us to. did you every fix this?
@@alwaysshine5930 yes. I added a tee valve to the gun between the handle and the wand. Works great and chemical is not going thru the pump
@@Kgio-2112 hello sir could you explain you said you added a T valve further. Thanks
I can't figure out why my pressure washer is pumping water back into my chem tank? Any help would be great thanks
If you’re using the downstream injector the little ball is probably gone
@@kingofpressurewash im using a DS injector and the ball is in it, are you saying the ball is shot or completely gone? Mine is there at least haha still feeding water into chem tank on high pressure
Steven snaguski, did u figure this out?
Hey fellas any one know why water is coming out of my chemical injector on my pressure washer
Got a question... My injector is working. But when I do a 1-2 story home, I barley go through 2 gallons of bleach. I can smell the bleach coming out, and I'm laying it on thick... I just don't seem to be going through alot.. is that normal??
Yup
@@kingofpressurewash yup what?? Lol is that normal?? Something wrong with it??
Taylor Hurst yes this can be normal sometimes.
Sometimes you may need to clean both ways to fix it.
Also put down house mix when done
@@kingofpressurewash I use bleach, what do you mean clean both ways??
I understand what you’re asking I experienced this once. I changed out my downstream filter and it worked like normal. It didn’t visually appear damaged or dirty but it wasn’t allowing a proper flow
Anyone else have issues with it leaking air into the system when you're not using the injector? I don't know if there's a valve I'm supposed to close or what, but for the time being I've just put a bit of hose on the end and kinked it with some zip ties to cut off the air supply.
Brand new chemical injector never used still not sucking??? Help
Make the arrow is going with the flow
I am new. I bought a Simpson 4200/4 gpm. The only way to draw soap is with the black tip. That will not get me to a 2nd story, does no good. How do I fix this?
Yeah that's why you Gotta use a J Rod for it
www.pressurewashhelp.com/jrod
@@kingofpressurewash cool, thanks! I actually bought a j rod and have used it a little. Need to figure out which tip is soap high. I’ve been using it on my wooden fence. I thought the fence would be good practice, but it’s breaking my spirits. It’s full of algae, downstreaming straight SH and a surfactant, and hitting it with the 40 on my jrod. I tried the yellow tip, but it was carving the wood up - especially on the horizontal 2x4s. It’s taking me 15 minutes for each 6 x 8 panel, and still not coming all the way off. I’ll lose my rear end if I get to someone’s house and it takes that long. Thanks for responding, Jason! BTW, is there anything I should buy differently on your rig build list since I have a 4 gpm instead of 5.5?
Since I already have a j rod, I guess I could buy the assassin separately? Will it slide right over one of the existing j rod tips?
@@tgeorge78 Those other tips won't work you need a J Rod. It has a bigger hole and all of those
@@kingofpressurewash I have a j rod, I just don’t have one with an assassin tip.
Wow there is a lot that can go wrong
yes there is
I’ve done all of that, went thru 3 different injectors and still not able to pull. Yes I’m using the right tips, yes the arrow is in the right direction, and everything else is correct, and I can’t figure out why it won’t pull
Try taking the gun off the end of it
Have you ever heard of water coming out of hose?
I need to troubleshoot my wife... she ain't sucking neither. 🤣😶
I can't help you there
@@kingofpressurewash 😂😂😂🤣🤣
I think I need a new gun, my ball valve pushes chemical just fine but my gun is struggling
Everyone ever thought about using 2 downstream injectors? Would that work and double the concentration? 😎
I literally just bought a DS injector and it don't work. pepehands
wow it takes you this long to list 5 problems
Just making sure I hit everything
