Hey guys!! Today I’m sharing with you my trick for the easiest French manicure ever, no special tools or guides needed, just white polish and top coat (and a little acetone lol). Who else loves a good classic french nail art design?!

For under the White..totally works.
But on top of the white would make it look bad

I did the sheer pink base coat and messed it when I cleaned up the white tip. Solutions?

I never thought about just painting a stripe on the end and cleaning it up. What an easy trick for a lovely manicure.
Ive been using this technique for years and always get compliments on my nails! Another cool thing is that your can use any colour, not just white- i use a light metallic purple sometimes and it looks great.
I saved about 10 vids on DIY French manicure in my watch later list. Yours was the first I watched. Tried it; deleted all the other vids bc I don’t need them now. Thank you! It worked perfectly!

This is so helpful, I don't have white nail polish. I was thinking of getting only white nail polish, I already have translucent fast drying top coat like the one you're using in the video demonstration.
I feel like could be my go to nail signature look I like to wear this everyday. I'm currently learning how to be elegant in all areas of life in fashion, beauty, career and work, relationships and friendships, etc. I think making french nails makes you kinda elegant with elegance because instead of using color you're using a bit of nail polish, and quick drying top coat to get the glossy look. This is simple and quick to do.
This manicure looks so easy to do! And it requires no skill which makes it even better! I feel like you could wear this nail look anywhere and you could get away with it

Oh My Goodness. I used what I happened to have around the house, which was a french white nail paint stick and their topcoat and my 98% acetone and I had an angle brush that I used that helped as well. Done under 15 minutes.. it is so easy, Thank you. When I think of all the nail tapes, polish waiting to dry, then taking the tape off and some would pull some of the polish off, well those days are gone along with saving money on a manicure. I also wipe any excess acetone on my hands as well ;-) or on a piece of paper laying on the table. Nice video Kelli! The only thing I can imagine that I would *personally* struggle with, is erasing the white imperfections with my non dominant hand. But then again that's just my mind, I over think too much. 😁

The more you practice the better you get. Start painting your dominant hand and then do your non-dominant hand.
You could make the scandalous version of these nails using your collaboration polishes with Starrily. Different styles of French manicure. All super blingy and shinny. 😍😍😍

My sister used to do this she had a steady hand where she could just take inches throughout one nice line right across the nail and it was like perfect every time! No I don’t think she applied a top coat over top of it. But she did have to touch up the white line constantly! Probably because she didn’t have a top coat on lol but I introduced her and bought her her first Kiera sky French dip kit!! She was hooked and loves it 😊

When I was a kid, I wanted my nails painted french tips just like my mom. She didn’t know how to do it, so she made a stencil with plastic and would do my nails with it. This just reminded me of that.
This was the very 1st nail art I ever did. I always freehanded my French Tip manis for years. Lol
So simple and quick. I used to use Scotch Tape for the tips, but that got to be messy and time consuming. Thanks so much Kel for this video.👍☺

Tried it and overall I like it!! Was able to get a similar elf brush at target. It's harder on your dominant hand of course but I made it work. Doesn't look as good as yours but not bad!

Wow, I always struggled with the little stickers and tape, always causing smudging every single time. I am so glad I watched this. This is super easy than all the methods I tried. Also its done on short natural nails, perfect for me. Thanks so much 4 sharing

I like the little stickers for french manicures 😂 its pretty easy to use and i wont have a mess on my nails

Two quick questions:
1) Did you clean up the white layer with acetone while the white layer was still wet?
2) Did you wait until the white layer was dry to apply your clear gel topcoat?

Great questions - for the white layer, you can clean up while it is wet OR dry, whichever you prefer. Some find it easier to clean up while its wet, but personally I prefer to do it once the white is dry! You do want to wait for the white layer to fully dry before applying top coat. :)
I've shorter nails then you it feels so weird can't wait to grow them again but I'm rocking galaxy nails using your plate & my Zodiac moyou london one too amazing video as always Kelli 😊

My problem would be doing it 10 times 😂. A bit of old school trivia: back in the 80s we did a French manicure by painting the underside of our nails white and using a clear or very pale top coat. Worked best on pretty long nails. I have no clue where that method came from. I guess a magazine. No internet then Lol

Yup we used a white pencil underneath the tips in beauty school back in the 70’s.

I'm right handed so my left hand comes out perfect but I could never do the right hand quite as nice as my left. Hopefully, your way will make it easier than mine! You could also use round white sticky hole reinforcers across the nail, paint over it then remove the paper circle when the white polish is dry. easy peasy.
