The Harry Potter pot hole that always wound me up (though i think corrected in later versions) was in the Goblet of Fire when Harry Potter's and Voldermorts wonds connect and the people who had died by that wand materialise in reverse order his Dad materialises before his Mum when she died after him.... but I agree Dumbldores character doesn't make sense beyond creating a space that Voldermort/Death Eaters can't just waltz in a murder everyone.
Harry is a mega rich orphan boy but still freeloads every summer at his mate whose family have like nothing. He could have literally bought them a mansion
This morning I was talking about the plot errors in The Walking Dead like them spending the winter inside of the prison and when they had to leave somehow the Zippo lighter still worked, even though those will vaporize within 2 weeks, same thing with them finding a car wrapped in the Weeds about 7 years after the whole Zombie thing started and the car started right away. Same thing with finding cases of bottled water after all that time and no one is worried about it being expired
The numbers in Harry Potter just don’t add up. Harry’s got about 30 people in his year group and he goes to the only school in the country. Yet they manage to maintain a society complex enough to have a World Cup with professional players and Wales are in it. Cricket doesn’t even have enough players for a Wales team.
Newfoundland (Talamh an Éisc) in Canada has Baymen or Baywops (everyone outside St. John's) and Townies (people from St. John's). If Baymen is like Boggers, what do u call the people from Dublin?
