Fantastic video! Would love to see loads of these for: weightlifting; sprinting; accels; decels; COD drills!

The bar coming back in the second pull is something I never hear about at the gym, but makes such a massive difference to my positions.

He looks like what in spanish we call "caballo desbocado". I think the translation would be "rampant horse". Love his lifting. Full power all the time.

I feel like the most common snatch technique I've seen is flat shoes, shoulders back hips down starting position, then chasing the barbell and smashing it hip far forward, pulling hard arms bent, jumping forward chasing the barbell and missing the lift as power snatch not being able to stabilize it arms slightly behind. This video probably addressed all the common mistakes and how to easily get rid of them.
I remember first trying the higher hip, shoulders over the barbell starting position after watching Sika and it was so uncomfortable and exhausting. It was not nice the least bit, but it really made it easy to snatch compared to before. Same with doing overhead squats, it was stupid heavy and uncomfortable but little by little it started to work and suddenly the snatches were no longer power snatches. And it was painfully obvious how much you have to do empty barbell work no matter how much you would've liked to put at least some plates on. It wasn't even a snatch the moment there was load and it was impossible to do any adjustment because there was almost no volume with load. Tough lesson to understand that mobility comes with work and time and before mobility it's useless to have load. So it's just a lot of empty barbell for a good while. I liked learning and reminding the hip contact or the sequence with Zack Telander's or Oleksiy Torokhtiy's (I forget who I saw show it first) drill where you swing the bar to hip while extending and pulling with traps, and listening to the rattle from bearings, bar path directly up. And muscle snatches. Somehow those made it click where you want to be going.
What is still a mystery to me is the catch position width. A lot of lifters spread their feet a noticeable amount in the catch but if I start spreading my feet in the catch and catch low, I end up with knees caving in and not a good full foot contact on the floor. I can manage barefeet back squat almost ass to grass with no problems, but the moment I start spreading the feet in catch, the whole posture goes down the drain. Maybe it's just a mobility issue. One shoulder unable to reach as far behind, going down the chain to not being able to have a good back position, then hip and as a consequence the knee is compensating for the mobility. It's tough to own the overhead squat positions.

Cheers mate, your issue in the catch with wide feet does sound like mobility.
Fixing the shoulder mobility would likely unlock that hip position, but the hip and leg coordination might also be limiting your shoulder.
