@@SenpaiKai9000it’s an ex for a reason!
I'd love for someone to show up at my doorstep with a nice ramen 🍜
This isn’t a hack this is a full recipe my friend
He did say it was a recipe
@@RyanKusuma the video is literally titled “My Ex Girlfriends Ramen Hack”
@@crustyflakes3861and the eggs, and the garlic, and the ginger...
@@crustyflakes3861Right? Hack is way overdone. Just say tip or idea.
Agree. Where’s the hack? 🤷🏽♀️
I thought hacks were supposed to reduce the number of steps needed 😂
Reverse hack. Taking something, most people would simply make from the package, and turning it into something meal worthy.
Here's a hack for you, pour hot water directly into the Ramen bag and you will save time on washing the dishes
since when? a hack is supposed to make something better somehow, thats it.
@@adama7774 since forever. It not only is supposed to make it easier, but less complicated. That’s the whole point of a hack.
if we're comparing it to real ramen, than its definitely a lot faster
"Boil three eggs. Use one of them, and toss the rest."
My man seriously soft boiled 3 eggs so he could not eat 2 of them
I thought he only used 1
@@FloydWhoElseTV
He fried one egg
Boiled 3* eggs
Ate one fried and one boiled egg, split into two pieces of a boiled egg.
@@C0d0psHe fried one egg and boiled 3 eggs. He probably had the other 2 eggs off camera.
@@katharina...
True
Twas 5 eggs total. One for the yolk. One fried and 3 boiled. Thats a whole lotta eggs just for a ramen craving 😅
who knew all it took to spice up ramen was half a carton of eggs
A bit of a problem when there's an egg shortage
@awung11 go to a farm and buy a hen and cock... they usually charge a few hundred at most, and wham, you have 1 egg a day for the rest of your life, and within a year your production of 1 egg a day can become a dozen and then you can start selling chicken and eggs.
@@mistergod3 have to hope the hen doesn't get bird flu and throw all your money down the drain. Bird flu _is_ the reason for the egg shortage after all
U mean to tell me ya can't afford 30 count eggs or 60 from Walmart? That's sad. During COVID then mugs was 20 bux. Now it's 6 to 8 bux.
No it isn't. They stop laying a lot in the winter because of light hours. Last year however avian flu was rampant, not so much this year. You can mitigate them getting bird flu from other birds by using bird netting and not feeding other birds around your house. @@awung11
"Give it some toppy" it was at this moment I realized I've been on the internet too long...
This isn't a hack, this is a whole ass recipe dawg.
Mystery behind the bluetooth burner explained:
It’s an induction burner built below the actual wood from the countertop. This types of stoves are basically circular magnets that can induct heat to a metallic object even through layers instead of transferring it like a regular gas stove would. Building it INTO the countertop is a super expensive move but it can be done (i’ve seen it done on granite). This means only the pan gets hot because the magnets wobble the iron’s electrons real fast, but the wood doesn’t because it’s not magnetic (?). The little wooden mat he places the pan on is only to protect the wood from the countertop from getting burned by the pan.
❤❤Thanku 4 this this
I’m thankful you explained that because I was wondering what the deal was 👍
Huh
He's just cooking it on an actual stove and then moving it to the wood for filming because there's better lighting there
@@videoguy640no shit buddy
For those who are wondering, the hack is to fry the egg at the beginning so it gets cold until you make the rest
😂
😂😂😂
😂
You think you're funny huh? 😉
Another much simpler ramen trick: when making instant ramen, try cracking an egg or two in the pan while it’s boiling and whisk it around, it’ll thicken the broth and just make it taste a bit better. Adds a whole egg worth of protein too.
Precisely
I like to poach my eggs, pick them up with a slotted spoon and set them aside in a mug or small bowl. Then make my ramen as normal in the same boiling water, adding the poached eggs as a topping at the end. That first bite when you break the yolk is worth the extra dishes lol
To get a smoother, creamier texture, add the egg at the end as soon as you've turned off the heat, and stir it. You won't get those egg clumps.
Fried chorizo s fried egg in chili lime cup noodles was what my ex would make sometimes and I’m telling you it was pretty damn good
It’s a built in induction stove top under the butcher block. Look it up.
Or he heats it on the stove or in the oven and then puts it there for the shot. But you could also be correct

I've done it lol. I kinda like it 😅
10 mins for a soft boiled egg 😂
Yeah thats long. Personally I do five minutes at a rolling boil, then run some cold water to stop cooking process. Percent soft boiled egg everytime so far.
back in College days.....leftover KFC chicken shredded, 2 eggs, green onion and TOP Ramen......yum yum yum..
🤤🤤 and also ramen with cheese puffs crushed and mixed in, prison food lol

@@jesusthroughmary My ex boyfriend’s friend’s roommate went to prison. Dude even made it when he got out of prison, it’s that good lol
@zaraheart I mean he made it for us multiple times a week while he lived with me
Hack usually implies it’s faster or simpler than the original version but ok
No it doesn't lmao, hack has become a colloquiallism for a way to improve something.
Besides that, this is a pro chef showing you how to make restaurant level ramen at home, he's not comparing it to being a lazy ass and literally just cooking the noodles lmao.

When my kids were small, id make "beef wit nootz" for them & all 5 boys loved it. Cubed london broil, seared in a pan, deglazed with water & the broth packs, throw in the nootz. It was a good quick family meal after getting home from work...
Pro tip: extra Buldak red sauce is sold separately 🔥💀
