Making the shoulder pads for tailored jacket

    For making shoulder pads I use 3 layers of cotton wadding (you can buy is available in any fabric store(quilting or upholstery section. And two outer layers of canvas (cut on bias!).
    Stitch all layers together using herringbone stitch.
    As my jacket will be unlined, I am going to cover these pads with lining material so they will have a finished look on the inside of the jacket.

      I might be wrong but this looks like Felt or Domett (off white fabric). The speckled fabric is tailoring canvas.
