We are packing for 22 people to go on an adoption vacation! It is so crazy to pack for this many people. Large family vacations can be fun, but they are also very stressful!

Grandma is 100% right with her suggestion. When I went to university, the university ID was used for everything, it had our meal plan on it, access to the gym, access to the library, entrance to most buildings, access to your dorms and your room, etc, so I KNEW I was incapable of keeping up with this thing, so I put a command hook right by the inside of my dorm door, and hung it on there every time I came back to the room and took it every time I left. Never lost it in 4 years.

Not a good Idea when u return them it still has all your personal info on to easy for somone to steal it
When I still lived at home and me and my brothers started to drive, my dad got a big key box for all the keys and spares, with tags. And we had a couple of hooks beside it to hang our main key chains on. When I moved out, I still hang up my keys as soon as I get home, and than I hang my jacket over to kind of hide it

@littlebigkicker wasn't a problem. We had doors that automatically locked behind you once you closed them going in or out.
We’ve been on dozens of cruises. Be careful with your boarding pass in the lanyard. Wind can and WILL knock it out and toss it overboard. Also don’t wear the lanyard while out at port stops. It draws attention to the fact that you are a short term tourist (a target).
I do agree with this! But with 20 people in their group they will definitely look like tourists LOL 😂

I think one of my top travel tips is to take a photo of your luggage so that if it goes missing you can show the staff exactly what it looks like. We also differentiate ours by using luggage straps and never put your address in it, only your phone number. If your address is in it and someone steals it they’ll know where you live and that your house it most likely empty. Have a good cruise crazy pieces

For Evie.... The shell of a ostrich egg is about 2mm thick and resembles porcelain in both beauty and shine. It is mostly composed of crystalline calcite and is extremely strong. A full egg can weigh up to 5 pounds, but they usually tip the scales around 3 1/2 pounds. The contents of the egg are equal to approximately 18-24 chicken eggs. I life very close to one of the biggest ostrich farm area in the world, it is a town called Oudtshoorn in South Africa. ( Obviously the farms is in close proximity to this town) 💐

My best sunscreen tip is to put on sunscreen before you get dressed. No burn lines. Also apply at least 20 mins before you go in sun. It is a game changer. Buy the time you get dressed and leave you are set.
And don't forget to re-apply. Don't be afraid to long swim tops and a hat if need be as well!!

The duck thing is also a jeep thing. Look up ducking jeeps and what it means!! It always brings a smile to my face when I come outside and see a duck was left for me! My 11 year old son loves it too!!!

Great ideas! I would suggest that for the younger kids an adult holds their cruise card...this would also prevent the kids charging things like special drinks (milk shakes, slushie drinks etc) and the arcade etc without permission. My youngest charged over $100 at the arcade one day before I realized it. You can also put limits on the kids cards if you go to customer service.
Also make sure your extension cords are NOT surge protected or the cruise line might confiscate them at check in.
I would take lots of magnetic hooks to hang swim suits, hats as well as lanyards.
I also pack room spray of some sort...can get smelly in a small space with lots of people, a bathroom and wet towels etc.
Finally make sure anything you hang on the door or walls does not leave any residue...tape and regular stickers are often not permitted...only magnets and command strips. Check with the cruise line on all of this of course but these were my experiences.

It's been a long time since Crystal said you grow old with your kids, and she couldn't wait to see her children grow up and to see what they become. I have watched your family grow in numbers and height. Watching Alex, Hannah, and Brody's adoption was the video that hooked me. I can still see all three wrapped in blankets as you pretend they were your newborn babies😂 I have laughed, cried, and enjoyed watching your family share their lives with the world. Since it's summer, it would be nice to see you do an episode with everyone playing the card game Water Wars. Like little Max and Hallie did years ago. Winner gets to push loser into the pool. Instead of getting to use a water soaker.😂

I make custom luggage tags for large family trips. I laminate the basic info tag then use colored and patterned Duct Tape for each one around the edges. They are easy to see and identify. Use a hole punch in one corner to attach. Years ago Walmart and Michaels carried a bunch of patterns and even Dollar Tree has fun colors. Everyone picked their own so they could easily identify theirs. Use colored zip ties to attach and put a piece of the tape on each side of suitcade.
It’s interesting when I hear people who are land locked prepare for a cruise or a trip to the beach. Those of us who live by the ocean basically have sunblock in our back pocket at all times. On a first name basis with the lifeguards and the ice cream truck guy. Took me 2 minutes to walk to the beach from my house. Blessed to have had that luxury growing up.
I’m lost if I’m too far away from the ocean. I can’t ever live somewhere too far away from the sea. That’s my moment of zen.
Always get beach shoes too. They aren’t that cool but if you have cut your feet on a barnacles, a reef or coral? Not a good time.
Here’s a tip for large groups…When you all have to get showered at the same time you can use the showers 🚿 in the spa area also.

Those binders are amazing! Reminds me of when I was an AFC (adult foster care) case manager they have those in the group homes for the residents. So amazing!
To see Evie and Aurora so happy about the cruise is so heart warming. On vacation in Galveston last week, we saw the cruise ship in port. It was huge. I can't wait to see the cruise vlogs.
My husband retires the end of July as a meat manger for Costco,and we are going on a cruise next April and celebrating and early 50 th anniversary. We are going to the Caribbean’s, Panama. Going for 5 weeks.

Don’t eat carbs. Cut down serving sizes. Don’t eat or snack after your last meal of the day. This is how I lost weight.

Make sure those extra plugs aren't surge protectors. Cruise ships will not allow surge protectors on board
The company that makes them sells them on Amazon as being safe for cruise ships. Some lines though don't like it you have ones with plug sockets on them though (from what I've seen and read it mostly seems to be Disney). Usually if they have a problem with it they will return it to you after the cruise in the cruise terminal though.

@Evie, ostrich egg shells are made up of 96%
crystalline cacite and then also 4% organic material which is proteins. The shell itself is about one inch thick.
They live on vegetation and come mostly from Australia.

Put the patches on a day ahead and leave them on per instructions . Don't allow yourself to start getting sick , it it much harder to get under control if you do.

Nice organizing plan and nice packing day your mom really had a nice idea with keeping track of all the names and dates of their birthdays and I like the idea of everyone's information in different binders it really helps
Just a suggestion when giving he dogs toys make sure the toy is at least bigger then their mouth that small duck could easily get stuck in their mouth if they were to try to swallow it.. I’m a fur grandma so I’m always making sure the toys are dog safe and kitty safe..

I do hope Crystal has given each child and teenagers packing list, and not everyone one packing loads of electrical equipment in their case total nightmare for airport security staff who xray all the suitcases too.

Be careful which level you take the stairs on the cruise ship though! I came down from the lido deck where the pool is and I didn’t know the stairs were wet and I slipped and fell really hard on my elbow didn’t break it but just be careful especially grandma!

To seal a bottle for travel just use a piece of a plastic bag (ziploc bag. grocery bag) that is large enough to cover the bottle threads.
Those are for the cruise luggage tags not boarding pass.
I love the lanyard idea. Also you could put their names on it.

Hey Crazy Pieces hope you guys have such an amazing cruise down in Ensenada, Mexico. I will be traveling down by car with my family in a couple of weeks just for a weekend get away. As a child I would always travel there with my parents to visit my grandpa’s house. Hope you guys really enjoy it. I know you will. If you guys have enough time to explore in Ensenada, Mexico I really recommend going to La Bufadora. You guys will really enjoy walking in that area. Hopefully you can ask someone that works on the ship and see if they have tours. But either way Ensenada is amazing place to explore with family. Have fun😁
Hopefully everything goes ok for you with Carnival, they don't exactly have the best reputation.
Also agree with others, don't wear the lanyard at ports, it'll mark you very obviously as a short term tourist.
Not a big deal if you stay close to the ship but more if you venture further afield.

if you can you should look into buying the brand of suit away travel, they are pricey but they are nice, four wheels, travel smoothly through the airport, all the suitcases could match but would be in different colors, some also have a battery in them to charge your phone with. You can even get the kids luggage tags to go with them with their initials on them.

I have a small package I’ll be sending to aurora in July and I’ll add those to her box and put In a sandwich baggie with ur name on it so you can fix and or if happens again will have extras as well.

I thought at another video you bought a dispenser that had three compartment that you turn for shampoo,conditioner and body bath. I bought one and really like it. I put mine in a gallon zip lock bag in case on they leak
Love this video!! Just wanted to let you know that even though our phones are waterproof the salt water from the ocean will burn out the inside of your phone. I thought the same thing when I went on my first cruise. My iPhone 14 would not turn back on the next day.
11:30 if you all are doing carnival, the multi plug you got may work. We used one on Carnival sunshine in March. We just got off Royal Caribbean last week, and it was taken from our suitcase, as a forbidden item. 😑
Norwegian cruise line had a few in the cabins.
