I'm an old man who is a serious rookie when it comes to coins. I love your material. I learn more from watching a handful of your videos than I do from all other sources combined. I hope you stay in the business and continue educating people like me. I have a few coins but you would hate 'em ... they're all modern coins from the U.S. Mint and the Royal Canadian Mint. However, I appreciate everything you buy, sell, and discuss in your videos. Take care. I wish you great success.
I agree, I also have learned a lot from Acousha. The CoinGeek and acousha are my personal favorite coin CZcamsrs
Coin collectors would enjoy even modern coins. The Canabian mint produces very beautiful coins.❤😊🎉
Good Ole Mike Mezake is hard at work every Saturday and Sunday morning on the History Channel. You can always tell when he is telling a lie. His mouth is moving. 😂
Good ol Mike Sleezak and Miss Gaspy
About 20 years ago, I had a coin dealer try to tell me that all American Silver Eagles were worth exactly $1.
He wasn't lieing, the face value is 1$ on 1 oz coins. I'll buy em from ya for $2 each!!! That's a 50% profit 😂😂😂😂
Sad that this actually works on people who don't understand precious metals. No joke, my mother thought I was crazy for paying over $20 for 1 1 0z American Eagle all bc it says one dollar on the coin... She literally only saw the face value and thought that was the true value. Had to teach her about Bullion collecting and face value vs Silver/Gold content value.
not a suprise, many crooked dealers around
@@SweetLeavesXbox1 could explain how im still finding silver in the wild got a 65 quarter back in change today and yes its a canadian quarter
@southerncanadiancoins757 Nice! I'm not getting as lucky this month. Found alot loose change laying about. No luck on silver yet.
I always pay more for graded
coins, sometimes more then there
value from coin shops, but there value
will most likely go up in the future😊
Thanks for all the knowledge acousta,
love your coin searches as well 😊
Was told many years ago ,,to be a good coin dealer 1st u have to be a good thief,,,I've seen lots of rip off merchants especially here in uk🇬🇧
It’s like a Ghost Town at that coin show. I never liked slabbed coins, because I always considered my Gold & Silver as my son’s savings account. If the economy tanks, and he needs to move it quickly for something, then you’re completely limiting yourself to potential buyers. Bullion is where it’s at for me.
Good idea. Can’t beat a silver/gold stack.
Drew, you ever do a video on this? Your thoughts on Numi vs Stacker. I’ve started my new chase down this rabbit hole of Morgan CC’s since stacking does tend to get boring and when spots jumping all over I figured why not switch it up some, but does sometimes cross my mind if I should focus on stacking only. I enjoy the collectibles but what are we doing to ensure the hobby stays hot. You’re definitely contributing greatly with these videos and info you put out but do think it would be interesting to hear your opinions on this topic.
I am happy that gentleman did not fall for that rip off dealer. God bless you for being honest. 🙏❤️😊
Umm I think he did fall for the rip off dealers and lose well over 100k. If gold hadn’t spiked so much the last few years he would have lost another 30k my guess
@@tylonnplatinumthe3rd659 true missed that part.
they should announce the dealers name and address
That Seated dollar with *THAT* toning is well worth over double bid. What a stunner!!!
Interesting you showed a Shekyl of Tyre. That’s very high on my bucket list. I’m not an ancient collector but as a Christian coin collector it just would be amazing to scoop up a high grade example of that coin. Probably talking $3k or more for a really nice one
🤞🏻
Stinks that the car crapped out on you. We take stuff working for granted, at least a lot more than we should. Fun video.
"The coin?" -- "Well not THE coin..." LOL!
That gentleman with the star coin said “I can come down a little, 250?”
Almost 20% is a little????? Sheeesh! What a discount
Some coin shops will sell graded plastic holder coins for the exact same price as regular non graded coins... but they will buy them also at similar non-holder coin prices...
11:03 you don't have to prove them squat, unless you were living off of their dime.
“False Dies” generally refers to a transfer die struck counterfeit. I’ve seen it before with those 1980’s pre33 gold counterfeits. That Buffalo nickel could’ve been a transfer die counterfeit, using a worn 1921 obverse die and a less worn s reverse.

Thanks for another great video. Enjoy the stories. You never know what you will hear at a coin show. Love ancient coins too. That Shekel of Tyre is awesome!
what happens is the pump gets hot and the plastic on the bottom melts allowing the inside components to short to ground on the frame which in turn causes it to smoke and catch fire. youre lucky that it just popped the fuse
I don't know if you noticed, but your 1910 D guild Indian Head has a pretty strong die rotation
CAC seems overkill to me. If I have a coin graded by PCGS i don't see the need to have another company agree with the grade. That being said I have a few in my collection I bought with the CAC sticker and absolutely didn't pay a premium because of that.
I see you point of view and agree with most of it.
Many coins with stickers that are common are overkill in my opinion.
Less premium paid for any coin, the better for sure.
@AcoushaCollectibles love your channel new subscriber here. I loved when you were in Cleveland at ohio coin! Good place I've been doing business with them for years!
CAC stickers can be worth a little or a lot, but it will always add value. You see it on eBay auctions. A Morgan dollar with a CAC sticker will be worth a LOT more. A Liberty nickel, which is a much less popular series, will have less value added to it by a CAC sticker.
I like CAC stickers because it almost always means the coin is eye-appealing, and I don't have time to view every coin on eBay.
Yeah I need to get some of those stickers. Hell maybe I’ll make some red stickers to verify the green sticker that verifies the label
just learned something new .. never knew to look for dibble die 46 walkers

I've tried going to check with shops, and everyone has the same answers. It's like they won't acknowledge anything. I personally tried with knock out coins. They wouldn't even flench.
I have a 1910-D Ms 62 $10 indian
How do I get a hold of that dealer that's selling the monster toned seated liberty? I'm interested in buying it. Thanks.
Awesome video thanks gentlemen. I’ve been watching for pretty much since 2020. Your knowledge is outstanding. Awesome job never stop. You guys are good at this.
That means so much. God bless you, Drew.
Hope you learn something from these old timers other than buying a coin at the lowest price. Good hustle ya got going with puttin in the leg work.
Man those $10 Indians are stunning
My coin dealer told me he makes 5 % to 15% thats not a lot a lot of leg work for a small profit 🙏
Is it possible that people are removing cac stickers from coins, and putting them on coins that got rejected by cac? And then sending the good coin back to cac for another sticker ? Thanks
I'm sure that CAC keeps track of what coins they sticker. Maybe they will put the sticker back on the coin it was removed from. Then again...Maybe not.
Those stickers can't come off clean to be reapplied. A more realistic scenario would be a counterfeit sticker being applied to slabs.....in the hopes of fooling someone who wouldn't check CAC's database.
To get a new sticker the coin must be on a new holder with a picture of the former holder still with the sticker on it and the coin getting the stickered will still be examined.
CAC has a database to verify that the coin is truly cac approved. Just need to type in the NGC/PCGS cert on the website and that is the ultimate way to verify a stickers legitimacy.
Ask the dealer how much, some don't respond to what would you need for and such...How much gets right to the point.
Looks like a good time.
Everyone goes through pricey mistakes when learning how to collect numismatics. Hopefully, the guy learned and got better at buying coins.
Dont sell just keep buying metals are going up. Big time.
Ur a good man Broski they dont understand if ur fair ppl will always come back
Nice job 😊😊😊
I have noticed that coins in hands seemed under rated to the holder and the coins not able to get were over rated. Is this an eye of the beholder thing in collecting? One upping and my coin is better. That certainly would raise the price if people are so biased and not trusting the rating system. Nice work! The Shekl turns coins into Art where the story sells the coin and makes the value.
not suprised the dealer told him cac is nothing, but when the creepy dealer sells it its worth double greysheet
So many good looking coins. Thanks for sharing the show with us.
Love your videos. Look for every new video. I wish I was still working so I could purchase a ton of everything you post! Oh well! I will keep watching your honesty and passion.

If you live on your own and your parents are telling you how to live then you have problems. Not sure what grown man is going to let their parents dictate how much money they make or how to live.
That end roll toned seated $ is outrageous. 🔥🤘🏻⭐️
Penny sorting should be taken very seriously. No smiling, no talking, no joy. Just sorting!
A coin dealer that lies! Is that really possible? Lol
ALL coin dealers lie
i love these dealers the coins they have are so great the ones u have to sell them are lousy in their opinion
Man, always hate to hear about predatory pawn or coin shops. Once a year I set aside time to create an appraisal sheet for my coins and keep it with my collection. That way if something were to happen my loved ones would have values laid out for them.
That’s a great idea for anyone in precious metals or coins.
Nice Pre33!! cheers JJ
I love the old gold very beautiful designs
awesome video. Showing the highs and lows at the end of the show.
Big like 358! Thank you so much for sharing!
Bad Prius. Bad bad Prius 😂
Hi Drew, Jason here like to piggy back off the conversation you had with the two gentlemen about the story with the collector who got basically robbed.
Those companies that contact those individuals who have none or if any knowledge on coin collecting or numismatists background, they like to target them.
There’s a company that calls me least once a week I’m not going to say the name of the company but they have told me they have 1/4 oz MS70 American Gold Eagles for $2400, and then give you I sales pitch saying that they only have a VERY short supply of these coins and to put the cherry on top also they’ve been signed by John M. Mercanti the chief engraver for the U.S mint. But when someone like my self or knowledgeable coin collectors hear this I just chuckle 😂 but I tell ya it’s scary because they actually get vulnerable people to purchase. Just wanted to share that to your followers, and you be safe and see ya next year in Ohio at the show!!
Very scary. Hope things change one day. Thanks for watching.
Excellent video, I learn more coin facts every time.
22:22 that coin was never in a roll
thanks
good video, you cover a lot that is new to me. Wishing you success
Great content very educational and entertaining.
Great video.Time for me to subscribe.❤🎉😊
Just got ya!!! Looking forward to your content!!!
Great video and the seated dollar was insane
Great video! I am curious if in your experience dealers at these shows react differently to collectors who pull out there phone or Greysheet to look up prices and comps then they do dealers. I have collected for years but sometimes will purchase a few coins to flip and I always feel like I have to be secretive that I am looking up comps because I don’t want to offend the dealer (if I like them lol). Any thoughts?
I have a $10 Indian head 1913
If every time a coin changes hands the new owner wants to make a profit, someone will get the short end of the stick.
Good sales. Well done.
It would be so nice to be able to afford coins from you guys. I appreciate your hustle though 😊
Thought a star was one side cameo and a w is white w ngc
How do you decide which coins you will sell and which ones you might keep for yourself? Do you have like a specific criteria? Like you only stack bullion silver? Or maybe you’re only keeping coins for a type set book? Or do you only keep like Morgan/peace dollars etc? Lately I’ve been on a dollar spree buying any and all American (silver) dollar coins, Canadian dollars, also any Mexican large coins like 5 pesos cuahtemoc, and also 8 reales!
We just hold onto what interests us. Right now cac seated dollars and a few tougher gold coins. Can be completely different for other dealers or collectors. Really all depends on what you enjoy.
@@AcoushaCollectibles right on, I see! That makes sense! Thanks!
Be more polite like casey and you'll do more business.
Didn't it strike you as odd that the 21-S looked so nice on the reverse VF/XF and so soft on the obverse? I believe False Dies speaks to it being a struck counterfeit. Just an opinion!
Thank you Robert for your comment and insight. There is always a possibility.
Completely agree!
Ricky Bobby Grandpa or pa?
Where do yall sell at?
God loves coins
😂 so much he tipped a table of them!
What apps are you looking comps up on ?
PCGS coin facts / Greysheet bid(paid membership) / eBay sold/completed
The CAC sticker means nothing to me. But I am a real collector and not looking to profit.
Stay away from the J’s
It’s pronounced Pry-us.
Its sickning to hear someone spend so much with little information. With how much counterfeit and false prices goes on with precious metals. Stackers should understand what they are purchasing. People need to do there research; understand how to spot and test fake counterfeits; Understand how grading works and understand the resell price before buying.
If people knew the resell value before purchasing, most people would not be scammed. THERE IS NO EXCUSE to not do your research with todays technology.
Nice coins BBBRRRROOOOO 🤘🏻💪🏻🤘🏻💪🏻
