East London is the real London. Amazing bars, pubs, food and a diverse range of cultures. West London is all tourist traps. Do North London next (where I’m from!)
Sean Naamani Depends which bit of East London you go to. Yeah, if you go to a hipster cafe in Shoreditch you’re going to bump into a bunch of white bearded hipsters drinking turmeric lattes. But East London is massive and diverse. Huge Pakistani, Turkish, Indian, Caribbean and West African communities. Obviously if you let Instagram guide you, you’re only going to end up in the hipster hotspots.
Isnt East London super dangerous? I've been in West London and it was so stylish and vibrant and sophisticated with such a wealth of architecture, both building and landscape architecture. I can see how people may find it too touristy but I loved it.

When I was there , I did end up at several more “ touristy “ spots. The Tower was by far my favorite. When I go back, I’ll definitely be hanging on the east side! Loved that part of the video.

Hi Guys, glad you liked London. One slight correction, you don't need to load up your metro cards to use the metro (we call it the underground!) as the whole network accepts contactless payment, just touch in and touch out and the metro system does the rest. it's true but using Oyster is more convenient than credit cards :)
Ettore Mo. No they are not. With credit cards (or debit cards) there’s no “topping-up” and you don’t have to buy the blooming things in the first place - and pay a five pound deposit - which you then have to claim back!!!
I don’t know how it works for foreigners, perhaps they have no choice but to buy an Oyster card. But that’s the point. Oyster cards are for people who, for what ever reason, don’t have a payment card acceptable to the London Transport system, which by the way, includes busses.
They charge you extra using visa/MasterCard your better off buying an Oyster card it’s 10 quid with a 5er credit. Pro tip before you leave you can sell the Oyster card back to the station they’ll give you 5 pound plus the remaining credit
TheTruth Justice. According to railway enthusiasts, ordinary credit and debit cards are just a cheap to use as Oyster cards; and in some circumstances cheaper.

We were in London in July and had tea at the Marriott too! We really enjoyed it. We spent the majority of our time in the Westend. I wish we could have had a private tour of the Tower of London with a Yeoman. Tower of London has gone down in my book as somewhat interesting but mostly a waste of time.

Definitely want to go back to London again after this, and visit Bellerby & Co Globemakers. I still have the oyster card, I'm glad it doesn't have expiry date!. I went there in 2014, I used the hop n off tour bus. It also includes Tower of London ticket and Ripley's belive it or not museum ticket!. I love hop n off bus tour.

Great video. We like your vibe compared to other vloggers. We are going to London in 6 weeks, yay. I enjoyed east vs west theme. In Canada we mostly use contactless cards here. USA is do much behind with visa/debt card technology. Did you like going contactless? I love it.

Good job on the video guys! However, I do think that most of the places that you dined in (not sure whether you had to dine there because this video is sponsored) are quite expensive and there are better options to choose from for a fraction of the price.

So the western part is more elegant, royal and traditional, the eastern part is more Modern, laid-back. Two words in one city. Interesting. One Day I will definietly visit there. Take care♥️
Asia Pudel, they were both in zone one (central London) and the separating in east and west was a bit more narrative. Ducks and waffle for examples is located more western than the Tower of London. All in all you do see the difference (as you would between north and south London), but everything is close together.
