@@cookiestarbag5463 of course you would be accepted, it is a ruling for those who had knowledge at the time. If you were to convert to Islam and had tattoos and asked god for forgiveness for what you have done to his creation (your body) there would be no repercussions and you would be accepted entirely as a muslim (as long as you really ARE a muslim and follow the teachings of the prophet and God). However if it was possible to remove the tattoos without harming your body it would be recommended, but if not, then no worries man, you wouldnt have known so therefore you would not be punished or looked down upon or whatever for doing it

2 ) and creator created a clean body from that , and everything is in perfect place like , tongue and its size , heart ,heart size , liver , liver size ,ear nose , mouth, two kidney and their size , your lungs ,your lungs size etc etc what a perfection , also this is the sign of creator Allah .
3 ) Allah gives you a identity from that liquid drops , example
your face is different from whole world people, and give you eyes which sees and give you different fingerprint every finger have different fingerprint from your every finger and every finger have different fingerprint from whole world people fingerprints.
4 ) suppose if GOD not gives you nose then when you eat food then you cant take breath , think how the perfection of our body is made by our creator ALLAH .
5 ) SEE egg of hen it is dead but allah create and make in it leg ,eye , ear , heart etc and convert it in to a living creature , and that creature know how to eat , speak , drink , walk this is sign of that ALLAH the CREATOR of everything .
6 ) ALLAH/GOD Made ant , how small it is and it have mind to think , small eyes to see who fit eye lens in it , and have more and more sense than humans , can identify easily where is the sweet and meat . ALLAH made more smaller things than ant , spider etc etc these are signs of Allah .
7 ) think about hair cells , your hand hairs have limit of increasing , you eye hairs have limit of increasing , your head hairs have different limits so this shows that they are made up of same cells but controlling not by you and not by that cells but your creator Allah .
8 ) we say speed light is fastest , ( after researching to a limit by scientists ) before research they were thinking about any other thing, may be Tomorrow they will think about any other thing.
= > now we should think the creator ALLAH who made light and properties of every matter , how much ALLAH the creator is faster and powerful .
9 ) As we know " Energy Can't Be Created Nor Be Destroyed But May Be Transfer From One Body To Another "
who made this energy , from where it comes from . This is the ALLAH/CREATOR/GOD who made energy and everything , he made also that thing which can not be see by our eyes , listen by our ear, or we cant even think and imagine about them.

I'm a woman who both has tattoos and has tattooed herself in the past... I was very lost in my early years. When I began reconnecting to Allah SWT I made toubha for my tattoos and vowed to never do it again. Insh'Allah I can have them removed soon. Allah is the most merciful, all knowing. He knows what's I'm our hearts - be sincere in your toubha & by the grace of god, it's between me and Allah SWT. May Allah swt shine his light, mercy & compassionate onto us and hear our sincerest repentance. Aameen
Actually Mufti Menk said it is best to repent and leave your tattoos as they are because the tattoo removal process is painful and damaging so you will only be hurting yourself more. If you haven’t already started the process you should leave your current tattoos and not get any again.
Don't listen to these wahabis.. They follow a very extreme way and believe bukhari over quran.. Malaki sunnis say its makrooh not haram.. Means it's not recommended but not haram.. Shia muslims also say it's not haram because wudu is done ontop of the skin not under

I disagree with the Sheikh. There are other interpretations of this. Again problem with any conservatives is they cannot use common sense/reason. It is a club owned by extremists. You pick a side to the left and suddenly you out of club. Allah is beautiful and loves beauty. The surah al nisa aya 118-121 could mean anything. It does not say tattoo at all. The prophet pbuh said multiple times woman doing tattooing and tattooed women are cursed. But, please use common sense, as to why the best person on planet say such a thing. And why he did not say men. It has to be seen in historic context. There ware different groups of women/prostitutes doing stuff like that and the prophet did not like that etc. Remember our religion is for all time. Without the prophet we have. no Quran (as every word of it came to us from him). So this is in no way any disrespect to what he had said. I love him and owe great debt to him for showing us the path. But, getting rid of facial hair (specially for women), getting hair transplants for men, coloring hair, putting makeup, and maybe tattoos is not a big sin. There are some basics that all muslims know which is not to put any image of a living thing (this is from old times, where pagans started worshipping these things, and for these reasons we abide by it). Remember tattoos are no longer permanent. They can be removed (although costly and painful). Use common sense if you do decide to get it. Not a distraction for others and you when you pray (cover it). Go to reputable places where they use proper ink and hygiene. Don't put girlfriend/husband/wife name as things change. Islam is the best religion. God does not want to create obstacles for us, instead he has liberated us. I have seen a lot of my hindu friends and just the diet restrictions they have, makes me love my religion more. The same sura nisa has aya 97. This clearly says for people who spend their life in wrong countries/environment and blame their deeds to the environment, the angels when they come to take their life will respond to them, as to why did they not migrate. God's world is huge. This is common sense. Similarly, if you got a mole on your face, or need a nose job, or have a unibro, or a girl has a mustache or other facial hair. The answer is to use common sense and remove it. Only when something threatens your life or others, you should be very careful. Again, I am no expert in religion, but I refuse to believe in conservative thinking that does not conform to common sense, and think our prophet and our God wants us to have a good beautiful life.

As for those whom the angels take (in death) while they are wronging themselves (as they stayed among the disbelievers even though emigration was obligatory for them), they (angels) say (to them): "In what (condition) were you?" Splitting of the moon - I
ONE of the times when God performed miracles at the hand of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was when the Makkans demanded to see a miracle from Muhammad (peace be upon him) to show his truthfulness. God split the moon in two separate halves and then re-joined them. The Qur’an recorded the event: “The Last Hour draws near, and the moon is split asunder!” (Qur’an, 54:1)
The Prophet (peace be upon him) would recite these verses of the Qur’an in large congregations of the weekly Friday prayer and the bi-annual Eid prayers.[1] The believers grew stronger in their faith and the only explanation the Makkans could come up with was, ‘passing magic!’
“The Last Hour draws near, and the moon is split asunder! And if they see a sign (miracle), they turn away and say, ‘Passing magic!’- for they are bent on giving it the lie, being always wont to follow their own desires.” (Qur’an, 54:1-3)
The splitting of the moon is confirmed through eye-witness testimony transmitted through an unbroken chain of reliable scholars so many that is it impossible that it could be false (hadith mutawatir).[2]
A skeptic might ask, do we have any independent historical evidence to suggest the moon was ever split? After all, people around the world should have seen this marvelous event and recorded it.
The answer to this question is twofold.
First, people around the world could not have seen it as it would have been daytime, late night, or early morning in different parts of the world. The following table will give the readers some idea of corresponding world times to 9:00 p.m. Makkah time:

Also, it is not likely that a large number of people in lands close by would be observing the moon at exact the same time. They had no reason to. Even if some one did, it does not necessarily mean people believed him and kept a written record of it, especially when many civilizations at that time did not preserve their own history in writing.
Second, we actually have an independent, and quite amazing, historical corroboration of the event from an Indian king of that time.
Kerala is a state of India. The state stretches for 360 miles (580 km) along the Malabar Coast on the southwestern side of the Indian peninsula.[3] King Chakrawati Farmas of Malabar was a Chera king, Cheraman perumal of Kodungallure. He is recorded to have seen the moon split. The incident is documented in a manuscript kept at the India Office Library, London, reference number: Arabic, 2807, 152-173.[4] A group of Muslim merchant’s passing by Malabar on their way to China spoke to the king about how God had supported the Arabian prophet with the miracle of splitting of the moon. The shocked king said he had seen it with his own eyes as well, deputized his son, and left for Arabia to meet the Prophet in person. The Malabari king met the Prophet, bore the two testimonies of faith, learned the basics of faith, but passed away on his way back and was buried in the port city of Zafar, Yemen.[5]
It is said that the contingent was led by a Muslim, Malik bin Dinar, and continued to Kodungallure, the Chera capital, and built the first, and India’s oldest, mosque in the area in 629 CE which exists today.
The news of his accepting Islam reached Kerala where people accepted Islam. The people of Lakshadweep and the Moplas (Mapillais) from the Calicut province of Kerala are converts from those days.
The Indian sighting and the meeting of the Indian king with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is also reported by Muslim sources. The famous Muslim historian, Ibn Kahtir, mentions the splitting of the moon was reported in parts of India.[6] Also, the books of Hadith have documented the arrival of the Indian king and his meeting with the Prophet. Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri, a companion of the Prophet, states: “The Indian king gifted the Prophet with a jar of ginger. The companions ate it piece by piece. I took a bite as well.”[7]

The king was thus considered a ‘companion’ - a term used for a person who met the Prophet and died as a Muslim - his name registered in the mega-compendiums chronicling the Prophet’s companions.[8]
A few months before the migration from Makkah to Madina, God took Muhammad (peace be upon him) in one night from the Grand Mosque in Mecca to Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, a month’s journey of 1230 Km for a caravan. From Jerusalem, he ascended to the heavens, passing the boundaries of the physical universe to be in divine presence, meet God, and witness the Great Signs (Al-Ayat ul-Kubra). His truth became apparent in two ways. First, ‘the Prophet described the caravans he had overtaken on the way home and said where they were and about when they might be expected to arrive in Mecca; and each arrived as predicted, and the details were as he had described.’[9] Second, he was never known to have been to Jerusalem, yet he described Al-Aqsa Mosque to skeptics like an eye-witness.
The mystical journey is mentioned in the Qur’an: “Exalted is He who took His Servant [Prophet Muhammad] by night from Al-Masjid Al-Haram to Al-Masjid Al-Aqsa, whose surroundings We have blessed, to show him of Our signs. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Seeing.” (Qur’an, 17:1)
“So will you dispute with him over what he saw? And he certainly saw him in another descent at the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary - near it is the Garden of Refuge (Paradise) - when there covered the Lote Tree that which covered (it). The sight (of the Prophet) did not swerve, nor did it transgress (its limit). He certainly saw of the greatest signs of his Lord.” (Qur’an, 53:12-18)
The event is also confirmed through eye-witness testimony transmitted through the ages with an unbroken chain of reliable scholars (Hadith mutawatir).[10]

(i.e صيغة المذكّر)
Would you kindly clarify as I have unfortunately personally took that upon myself and executed tattoos, but not with the intention of disobedience to Allah, rather as my own way of having my family imprinted on me. (I tried taking precaution and did not go behind the elbow as I feared it may disrupt wudu in the case it is prohibited)
I’m starting to feel guilty and cursed and may Allah forgive me if that is the case.

2 ) and creator created a clean body from that , and everything is in perfect place like , tongue and its size , heart ,heart size , liver , liver size ,ear nose , mouth, two kidney and their size , your lungs ,your lungs size etc etc what a perfection , also this is the sign of creator Allah .
3 ) Allah gives you a identity from that liquid drops , example
your face is different from whole world people, and give you eyes which sees and give you different fingerprint every finger have different fingerprint from your every finger and every finger have different fingerprint from whole world people fingerprints.
4 ) suppose if GOD not gives you nose then when you eat food then you cant take breath , think how the perfection of our body is made by our creator ALLAH .
5 ) SEE egg of hen it is dead but allah create and make in it leg ,eye , ear , heart etc and convert it in to a living creature , and that creature know how to eat , speak , drink , walk this is sign of that ALLAH the CREATOR of everything .
6 ) ALLAH/GOD Made ant , how small it is and it have mind to think , small eyes to see who fit eye lens in it , and have more and more sense than humans , can identify easily where is the sweet and meat . ALLAH made more smaller things than ant , spider etc etc these are signs of Allah .
7 ) think about hair cells , your hand hairs have limit of increasing , you eye hairs have limit of increasing , your head hairs have different limits so this shows that they are made up of same cells but controlling not by you and not by that cells but your creator Allah .
8 ) we say speed light is fastest , ( after researching to a limit by scientists ) before research they were thinking about any other thing, may be Tomorrow they will think about any other thing.
= > now we should think the creator ALLAH who made light and properties of every matter , how much ALLAH the creator is faster and powerful .
