Ink from tattoos is injected under the first layers of skin..when the tattoo heals, you have a new layer of skin over the tattoo, so that concept is nonsense.

For North African tribes, there were religious connotations to those tattoos in the beginning.
Women who wore these symbols would wear symbols that would help assure good harvest, good cattle, protection from the evil eye, etc. Later on, it kinda just became a beauty marker for women.
I can imagine negative reactions were toward that original use.

Firstly, the prophet PBUH explicitly said that those for whom tattos are done are cursed. Giving fatwah that it is acceptable to carry on wearing tattos for tribal reasons does not tantamount to prophetic message. There is alr smth wrong when the "mufti" said at 05:14 that the ulama accommodated to their people's needs, when the way of Islam is universally applicable to every human being and it is all about sacrificing your own wordly desires to please Allah SWT.
Secondly, talking about tattos for tribal reasons and to establish ownership of an animal or slave should not even be mentioned as it is out of context. Because no one nowadays are thinking of tattos for such reasons but rather for "beautification" and hence alters the creation of Allah SWT. To say it is halal for such reasons (which is false) and then implying "hence it must be halal for beautification as well" is just ludicrous.
Do correct me if there is anything that i don't uds from the vid or in general about tattos ruling. Thanks.

So you had a chat with the prophet, and you know what he explicitly said? Tattoos are not Haram. Get over it. It's a personal choice. I would not have done it, neither would I advise someone to have it, but to say it Haram, is something that no one has clear evidence for, and just because you don't like it, it doesn't give you the right to become Allah's spoke person.

I agree with a lot of stuff mufti says but the more I watch him the more he seems like a reformist to me. Music is allowed which makes absolute sense. He said weed is allowed when science proves it intoxicates? How is that allowed? The Quran banned imtoxicants? Tattoos I see no harm but what about the countless Hadith on tattoos? Do we reject them all? Even some miracles, he just seems to find a way of denying them as you can’t prove them scientifically. If somethint mufti doesn’t agree with rationally he finds someone’s book with their PERSONAL view on it. He himself has said isn’t Allah and his messenger enough for us? So why is mufti like this? His views, understanding, contemplation and perspectives are amazing but if you want to give views we are only concerned about Allah and his messenger as the Quran says. I would like a response to the weed thing and the rest.

careful who you take you religion from, go to the original sources the Quran and the hadith yourself. The hadiths shed more light on quran, ibn katheer tafsir is the best for translating quran and giving you hadeeth that go along with the quran ayahs, go to main stream scholars for advice and avoid people who seem like they are not living according to the sunnah for eg the way they talk, dress and their appearance we can judge them on the way they look and behave but obviously we cannot see what's in their heart

I use it to help with my anxiety. Weed grows naturally and requires no human processing. There are many benefits to marijuana. It's a medicinal plany.. It's hard for me to believe such a plant is haram..

Weed simply causes different receptors to fire, it does not deprive your brain of oxygen like Alcohol (which is a poison). Altering brain function does not equate to degrading it. Learn some neurobiology and read up on the endocannabinoid system before making arguments that are beyond you.

Prohibition of tattooing has been narrated from 8 sahaabah at least, (Ibn Masoo'd, Ibn U'mar, Abu Raihaanah, Abu Juhaifah, Abu Hurayrah, Aa'isha, Ibn A'bbaas and A'li) in numerous ahadeeth and collected by BUKHAARI, MUSLIM, NASAA'I, TIRMIDHI, AHMAD, ABU DAWOOD, "Women are forbidden to add someone else's hair to their own or to tattoo themselves." (Ibn ABi Zayd al Qayrawaani) If you dig in all the books of fiqh and a'qeedah you can find all sorts of haraam made halaal and matters of kufr and shirk made permissible. Some of the ahadeeth forbid and curse women getting tattooed or tattooing others and others are general in the prohibition of tattooing. Just because someone has declared something permitted, no matter how long ago they were and how much knowledge they had, it doesn't make it mubah or halal or makrooh instead of haraam. Following error against clear evidence is not allowed. And the ummah is in mass kufr due to following deviations of scholars, society, imams, family, rulers etc against clear evidence and definite evidence. The Bible also forbids tattooing, but the Christians deviated in that due to the heretic, mushrik Paul permitting man-made law and abandoning the Divine Law (according to his statements in the New testament). Tattooing is an ugly thing, it does indeed change the creation of Allah, permanently defacing the skin and is of the ways of the polytheists, atheists and secularists, not from the ways of the anbiyaa and muwahhideen and Muslimeen. The evidence on the forbidding of tattooing is so well known and clear, it would be included in those things known by necessity...thus we find the prohibition in books such as Riyaadus Saaliheen by Imam an Nawawi, which is one of the books used to taught matters known by necessity. We find the prohibition in Bulooghul Maraam by Ibn Hajr al A'sqalaani, one of the books used to teach the ahadeeth of ahkaam. Ibn Hajr includes Tattooing as one of the kabaa'ir (major sins) in his list of kabaa'ir.

How do you explain these hadiths from Sahih al-Bukhari then:
Muhammed forbade the profession of tattooing (bk. 34 no. 299, 440) or being tattooed (bk. 34 no. 299m 440; bk. 71 no. 636, bk 72 no. 827, 828). Muhammed cursed the women that tattoo themselves or others (bk. 63 no. 259; bk. 72 no. 815, 823), Allah curses the women that tattoo themselves or others (bk. 60 no. 408; bk 72 no. 820, 825) to look more beautiful because they are changing Allah’s creation (bk. 60 no. 408).
'Abdullah bin Masud cursed those women who practiced tattooing; those who removed their hair from their face; and those who created spaces between their teeth to look more beautiful, because such women changed what Allah had created. Um Ta'ub asked him what was that because although she had read the whole Koran she could not find such an order. Abdullah retorted that if she had read it carefully she would have found, "And what the Apostle gives you take it, and what he forbids abstain from it" (59.7). [bk. 72 no. 815, 822, 826; bk. 60 no. 408]

So you dropped a book and you don't pick it up ?
If it's an Islamic book then you are truly a sick individual !
To Allah we shall return for His Judgement and we won't be wronged !

Pathetic, go to any wahabi mosque they put the quran on the floor and do salah next to it. These weak attempts at insulting someone with greater knowledge is typical Muslim trumpism.

a lot worse than that, he calls to kufr and shirk and makes every haram under the sun halaal...but the state of the ummah today is that most of the imaams, scholars and celebrity speakers are callers at the gates of the fire and kuffaar.

@@ZaydDepaoryou can disagree with him on this issue if you want. He himself made it clear that people can disagree with him on his opinions but the fact you're making up lies about him is very disturbing and disgusting. He is a person who defended the prophet'e honor by debunking the accusations that the prophet was a ra-ist, a pedophile, a harasser and never argued for kufr or shirk. Humble yourself and leave.
