Is just their wishful thinking and what their heart desire.
Why should someone else take the punishment for your sins? Cannot just forgive upon repentance? Is it fair for somebody else in the court of law hanged for the murder committed by someone else? Will the judge tell a criminal or everyone in the prison that I will punish my son and let all of you free? Is this justice?
One should understand the scripture in the light of explicit statements and do not get hung arguing clinging to ambiguous and implicit statements. Implicit statements should be interpreted in the light of explicit verses. Now analyzing bible no where Jesus shows that he was willing to go on the cross. Infact bible states anyone hung on pole is cursed. Why was Jesus pbuh hiding from Roman soldiers searching for him? Jesus pbuh prays calling upon God in the garden of Gethsemane for the cup to pass, not his will but God’s will. What does this say to an intellect.? What message is it sending? Dear Zakir Jews knew Jesus is God. His disciples declared it to the world but you can't understand it because you nither know God nor Jesus.

There are many more to prove the divinity of Jesus by his actions of forgiving sins, giving eternal life, by saying Me and Father are One, Iam before Abraham and so on. Only God can do these.

This guy is an angry guy, you can feel the agitated and unpleasant hostile atmosphere whenever you listen to this Zakir. There's no peace in his religion nor in him. He is a frustrated angry human being that doesn't know the scripture but distorted the scriptures according to his misguided belief/understanding.. There's no peace in any religion without Christ. The true testament is about apostle Paul who had been the strictest pharisee. He studied all laws and guidance. He thought he loved God but he didn't even know Him. Because of that He hated christians and wanted to kill them and worked for that to happen. He even witnessed the death of Stephen, the first martyr. How could a man like him turned to Jesus and accepted him as the Lord? He said that he's the most sinned man among them all but received His Grace as well,even myrtyred in the Name of Jesus Christ.
