"Go to hell Harper Stewart...go straight to hell!" 😂🤣🤣 That Robin and Harper pairing had red flags from the first film...I never looked at them as a happily ever after couple because she never seemed completely happy and he consistently chose himself and his friends over her. I liked how this miniseries delved more into her character and what she wanted out of life, which definitely didn't align with Harper's vision. You can tell that they were the couple that married without having those more serious conversations about what they each want out of life.
That cause Harper literally proposed to Robyn at Lance and Mia wedding they literally just jumped right into marriage and rushing into things without still dating and seeing where things would end up for them

I don't know why people think Harper and Jordan would be good together. They would be terrible together because they are both chasing success and their careers. Harper is the kind of man that would never marry a woman like Jordan. Harper is the kind of man that needs a woman who has no other ambition or goal other than to be his cheerleader. Jordan has too much of her own stuff going on...she would never fall back for Harper. Harper would need a traditional wife. Jordan would need a man that is OK with falling back a little so Jordan can do her. Jordan would be better off with an older wealthy man. A man that already had his success and he has his money and he is no longer chasing the bag. So, he doesn't look at Jordan as a competition. Therefore, he doesn't care to fall back and let her shine. That's the only type of man that could be with a woman like Jordan.
Fans only hype up Harper and Jordan because they're fan favorites and they don't like Robyn tbh so they condone Harper and Jordan being together and their relationship tbh sadly
The Best man chapters was good. Robin should have never married Harper because he wanted to sleep with Jordan and still had a thing for her his world was not her world. Happy New Year.

Harper and Jordan are so annoying. I’ve never rooted for them. But Harper and Robin aren’t a match either and honestly I’m surprised they been together so long.

I understand Merch and Candice from both sides. Merch being treated the way he was treated for so long found a way to be the “Alpha” or man…..dare I say the BEST MAN he can be. He didn’t want to risk that new found “freedom” or manhood. Candice not saying it to him I also can understand. Yes TELL him of course but how do you come out and talk about it? You are right though communication is key.
After watching Brandon Victor Dixon in his role on Power, I didn’t like him as Demetrius for Jordan. I was happy it didn’t work out. I also despised the fact they had Harper and Jordan kiss. Like, why? It makes no sense after all of these years and her relationship with Robyn to go back to that nonsense. We didn’t need this. 😩

Unpopular opinion here, but why can't Harper pursue every goal he intended to pursue? It's not his fault that Robin decided to push herself to the side to support him. As women we do this time and time again and then are upset when our partners don't see us. But it's our responsibility to show up authentically and teach people how to respect that. It's not Harper's job to know and understand he's failing if she didn't communicate that.. And you can't expect someone who you've allowed to trample on you to change overnight. You show them grace, cause no one is super human. I've lived it. From the 1st movie Ray Charles could see that Harp still loved or had a thing for Jordan. Robin ignored that red flag and married him anyway. At some point you have to own your part. Not to blame yourself, again, we all make mistakes. But acknowledge that you have allowed his behavior, and understand you have to teach him and allow room and time for his growth and transformation. Robin's dissatisfaction is not entirely Harp's fault. They both are at fault.
Very objective comment. I like how you broke down both sides fairly as well. Agreed. There was even a red flag at the wedding in the first movie (Harper and Jordan’s dance while Robyn had that look on her face).
@LXBRON there were so many red flags. You have to love people for who they are, not who you want them to be. If he was self-absorbed when dating, she should've expected the same when married. People don't change until they want to. But her still pining and pleading for his love affection tells me that Harp isn't the only one still the same. 🤷🏾♀️ She's mad and ignoring him and Jordan and she doesn't even know what happened the night of the premiere. Something did happen, but she doesn't know that. Insecurities will eat you alive.
I agree with that to an extent but that pretty much why Robin was done and ended the marriage cause she was ready for the next chapter in her life and realize her and Harper just aren't meant to be I feel like her self growth helped her realize that. Even when Harper told her to stay and not live for Ghana she stood her ground and was like our shipped has sailed there nothing else to fight for yk. I definitely get Robin had her faults in the marriage as well cause like the saying says it takes two to tango but maybe she realize that overtime that she shouldn't have gotten into this mess with Harper cause she was fed up

First of all, I was pissed that I waited 20 years for them to have sex and they gave me that weak ass sex scene. I've been anticipating their moment since 1999 - literally since I was 5. And all they did was kiss on the edge of the couch? Chiiiiiile booooooo lmao
Plot twist: I thought Robin was going to be the one cheating with that guy Jaha or whatever his name is 😂. But I wasn't really shocked that Harper was the one that cheated with Jordan. I just hate how they had them do that while he was still married and Jordan and Robin were in a good place.
I also felt bad for Candace. She did all of that hard work to get accepted in Dr Templeton class but he sexually assaulted her. That was disgusting and she thought she could trust him as a professor. I'm glad that she finally told her husband. I loved them together.

I mean... I'm team Jordan and Harper. I feel like she has always been in love with Harper and therefore compares every guy to him, which is why she's never fully committed to everyone. Harper has always had feelings for Jordan and therefore set his marriage up for failure from the beginning. I love the idea of Jordan and Harper however I can't see them being together for long. The work as friends and perhaps as fuck buddies but Thier ambition will be the greatest fall down of Thier relationship.

I'm going to play devil's advocate when it comes to Lance character He's a very religious man meaning is mess the best he is he lives by Bible and the Bible it's not for it Leviticus 20:13 I'm saying this to say that for someone like Lance it's going to take time and his son should have some understanding on that
i'm sorry boo but i hate that phrase because the devil doesn't need an advocate... and speaking to your main point he can struggle internally with it sure but the blatant disrespect and dismissal is ALOT and doesn't signify unconditional love of a parent... so regardless he needs to check his ego and expectations because whether he is disappointed in LJ's sexual orientation or how they identify or lack of interest in playing football are any of those things worth losing your son over whether just mentally emotionally or literally and physically...

After watching several time I realize that Jordan is too modernized and values may be off. That guy Demetrius was a good guy and has traditional values and really wanted to take care of her. She blew it.
I think people are being too hard on Harper.
