I’d totally say the show relied on Damon too much: Jr, Lando, Simone,Thea, and even a bit of Coach Marcus’ past storylines all linked to Damon. But in this season you see the characters fleshed out more: we saw Nate’s family, learned a bit more about Lando, cam/ Keisha and Jr/Gabby have relationship drama, Simone’s dealing with cancer, Coach Marcus is bonding with a new found son, and Thea’s starting to open up as a friend and learning to be a friend too. The characters have more depth than they did before.

I feel that Brother Minister’s daughter Nefertiti might seek revenge for his death. I don’t think that Sasha is dead. I would love to see her and Elijah get married. I would also love to see Nefertiti and Curtis rekindle their relationship. The triplets Rio, Roman, and Paris (if Niles doesn’t kill her) will be a great team. I understand Junior’s heartbreak and embarrassment; but blaming his wife Sonya who is ride or die for him; and then using it as an excuse to disrespect their marriage is wrong. I can’t wait to see Season 6 of The Family Business.

I wish Damon’s daddy never died. He is the blame for all this here mess. Mr Science you are my people but no spinning the block. The writers put Dimone together for one episode specifically to kill Dhea and now Thea has been MK Ultra for Simone.
